Well.....I don't know if that will happen. I don't think he went over the line, to be honest. And, considering how Trump responded in the wakes of the deaths of Rob Reiner and Robert Mueller, I have little to no sympathy for these idiots.
Pasting this, needless to say I agree with you.

Here are a few reasons why nobody should take Melania Trump seriously.

When Donald Trump publicly mocked the killing of Rob Reiner, Melania stayed silent.

When Donald Trump publicly celebrated the death of Robert Mueller, Melania stayed silent.

When Donald Trump publicly, and repeatedly, called Marjorie Taylor Greene a "traitor," triggering death threats against her and her family — threats that the former representative said the president blew off and dismissed when she asked him to stop — and continuing his public attacks against her even after she informed him of those threats, Melania stayed silent.

When U.S. intelligence essentially confirmed Donald Trump's war against Iran mistakenly hit a school, taking the lives of nearly 200 children — while her husband refused to acknowledge the mistake, take responsibility, or even apologize — Melania stayed silent.

When Donald Trump and his oldest son publicly mocked the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband, a senior citizen, with a hammer by a fanatic who had supported Donald Trump's lies about the results of the 2020 election, Melania stayed silent.

When a Donald Trump supporter hunted down Democrats, taking the lives of two while shooting two others in an act of horrific violence in Minnesota last year, and Donald Trump didn't even reach out to the governor of the state to offer help or condolences, Melania stayed silent.

When Donald Trump chose to attack and criticize Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer after an attempt to kidnap her by far-right radical lunatics was thwarted, rather than simply expressing relief that these lowlifes who were plotting to do so were stopped, Melania stayed silent.

She's married to one of the worst human beings on the planet. An absolute lowlife piece of garbage who's among the most disgraceful people to ever be allowed to call themselves "president" — who spends hours every single day lashing out and attacking others with some of the most vile statements imaginable — and Melania stays silent.

Oh, but when Jimmy Kimmel makes a joke about her husband's age in a comedy sketch — now the thin-skinned, easily triggered snowflake who married a man who's only two years younger than her father for his money has something to say.

Just... stop.

Go away.

Nobody cares.

In my lifetime, there's not been a First Lady who's less consequential than Melania. She's a clown whose biggest accomplishment will be marrying a man old enough to be her father for his money and not throwing up while they conceived their son.

And if my words are harsh, I don't care. When she took up a cause "against cyberbullying" while she's married to the most infamous cyberbully on the planet, while never once standing up to any of the horrible things he's said online — she can F all the way off.

She needs to be like the rest of us, sitting around waiting to read that big, beautiful headline so we can all celebrate.

Until then, nobody cares what she has to say about anything — including her husband.

Trump often insults everyone who disagrees with him [ in even the least significant ways] in his usual totally crude manner.

Anyone who offers even the mildest criticism of him [ or his family or horrendously incompetent cabinet ] incurs his total wrath. He has the thinnest skin that I have ever seen.

I have no sympathy for Trump who I consider to be the LOWEST FORM OF HUMANITY.

Trump is a an insensitive loudmouth.
However, I don't equate callous words on the news of a public figure's death to joking and projecting about the death of a public figure.

I myself have said mean words about the passing of someone with whom I had unpleasant dealings.
On the flip side, I have never joked or projected about anyone's death.

That's not to say either is right.
They are two different things. Kind of a subtle difference, but different.

How did you feel about Trump's comments on the death of Rob Reiner, Mueller and his death wish on McConnell?

Consider one is coming from a Comedian and the other from the POTUS.

My post is clear on the matters. Read it slowly.

McConnell having a death wish is politically inappropriate language, but it's a very common phrase that has many connotations including self-destruction. Again, it's different than saying someone is looking forward to becoming a widow. I personally think Kimmel's line is a mean-spirited taunt coming from a public figure comedian or not.

LOS ANGELES, April 28 (Reuters) - After a joke by late-night host Jimmy Kimmel drew calls from the White House for ABC to fire the comedian, the U.S. Federal Communications Commission on Tuesday ordered an early license review of the network's television stations.

The dramatic escalation by the FCC and standoff between President Donald Trump's administration and the global entertainment conglomerate is the first crisis facing Walt Disney’s new CEO Josh D’Amaro.
Last Thursday, Kimmel, whose late-night TV program airs on Disney's ABC, did a send-up of the annual White House Correspondents' Association dinner, joking that First Lady Melania Trump had "a glow like an expectant widow."
The joke was made three days before the actual black-tie dinner, celebrating press freedom and free speech, in Washington. The president and first lady were rushed from the dinner following an assassination attempt.
The FCC ordered Disney to respond by May 28.

Disney said it had received the FCC order and said it has "a long record of operating in full compliance with FCC rules and serving their local communities with trusted news, emergency information, and public‑interest programming." The company added it is "prepared to show that through the appropriate legal channels."

The stations are located in Fresno, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Philadelphia, Houston and Durham, North Carolina.

On Monday, the Trumps called for ABC to fire Kimmel, the latest incident of the White House pushing back on free speech that has roiled the world of late-night comedy. It has again placed Disney at the center of a battle among media owners, regulators and political leaders in a highly charged political environment.

During his monologue on Monday night's show, Kimmel said the "expectant widow" comment "obviously was a joke about their age difference," that had been misconstrued. Trump will be 80 in June, and his wife turned 56 this month.

"It was not by any stretch of the definition a call for assassination," Kimmel said.

Jessica Gonzalez, co-CEO of advocacy group Free Press, called the FCC action illegitimate. "He is using his position of power to silence dissent at the president’s beck and call," Gonzalez said. "This extraordinary and unconstitutional attack on the media is nothing more than another favor to the most fragile president in U.S. history."

Actress Jane Fonda's Committee for the First Amendment, a group whose members include actors, writers, journalists and others in the entertainment industry, urged Disney to defy the Trump administration's call to fire Kimmel.

"In America, satire is not a crime. The right to mock, to challenge, and yes, to offend those in power, is foundational to democracy," the group wrote in a statement.
Steven Cheung, White House communications director, kept the pressure up, accusing Kimmel of "making a disgusting joke about assassinating the President" and "doubling down on that joke instead of doing the decent thing by apologizing," in a post on X.

The FCC ordered early reviews of eight Disney-owned ABC stations, a sharp escalation of the administration's fight with major media outlets. The reviews could lead to the FCC seeking to revoke the stations' licenses to use the broadcast airwaves.

D'Amaro, who became Disney CEO in March, must decide how to respond to the mounting pressure to fire Kimmel.

A Disney spokesman could not be reached for comment about Kimmel, who survived a previous call for ABC to fire him.
The first lady’s close outside advisor, Marc Beckman, said ABC should fire the late-night host, "who for months and months is spewing vile political rhetoric ... into the homes of Americans across the country?”

In September 2025, the head of the FCC pressured broadcasters to take Kimmel off the air. ABC briefly suspended Kimmel's show that month over comments he made about the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

Past White House Correspondents' Dinner controversies have often centered on comedians pushing the event's traditional roast format too far for some attendees. Late-night hosts Stephen Colbert and Seth Meyers faced criticism for their stinging remarks. This year's event was to feature mentalist Oz Pearlman, not a comedian.

In 2018, Trump administration officials protested comedian Michelle Wolf's roast of press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and Trump himself has declined to attend most dinners held during his presidency.

In recent years, the dinner's organizers have opted to choose entertainers other than comedians for the dinner, including the historian Ron Chernow in 2019.

I read it fine. I noticed you called him a loudmouth, and I agree. Although it seems you are comparing the words of a comedian who is doing what he should be doing to a POTUS who says everything he should not be saying.

Actually, I do believe Melania will be happy dancing in private once the Grim Reaper gets off his ass and comes for the orange clown. I will gladly admit I will be fist-pumping and dancing myself.

Kimmel was playing a roast as is done with all politicians during the event, not wishing death on Trump. Trump is 80 years old, compared to Melania's 56. It's a fact that she should be spending a good 20 years without the orange stain in her life, so yes, the joke fits.

I guess you're behind Trump's continued lawfare using his personal DOJ and going after Comey for 8647, which Comey himself deleted?

On a side note, and I am surprised, but Glen Beck is supporting Kimmel. Hmmmm, how about that?

Trump's picture to be on passports. Fortunately, it will be issued only to those who renew their passports in person at the Washington D.C. office and do not object to his image.
But it is another vanity project by his minions to worship him

Beck only says Kimmel shouldn't be fired or cancelled. (That's basically my view too.)

If you had watched more than 30 seconds of the video, you would have realized he is not supporting Kimmel's words or tone whatsoever.
