This is a shortened edited version. The original version is 11 minutes long. And features some real psychedelic sounds that are a blend of rock and soul.

X those Northern Soul tracks you posted I liked every single one. But if I had to pick any favorites it would be the Moses Smith 2 you posted. Really dig his voice and sound.

I was listening to Soul Town earlier this afternoon and Fontella Bass' "Rescue Me" came on. Great track btw.

To me this sounds just like Northern Soul.

From the final Loose Ends LP 'Look How Long' released in 1990. The original lineup lost two members, Jane Eugene and Steve Nichol. They were replaced with Linda Carriere (of Dynasty) and Sunay Suleyman. Carl McIntosh, the de facto leader of the group, remained. He produced the album.

The most successful song from the album was "Don't Be a Fool" which hit #10 on the Billboard Hot R&B and Hip Hop chart. But for me this jam is equally as impressive. I really like the production, it has a jazzy and hip hop feel to it.

"Don't You Ever (Try to Change Me)"

This is what would be considered Post disco or Boogie music. It has some house music undertones. This was released in 1982.

Such a classic
Damn I slept on this one. I remember him with WC and Maad Circle and before that with this group

"Pa Ya Dues" Low Profile

He was also part of Westside Connection with Ice Cube and Mack 10.

If we're talking hip-hop, can't think of a better artist than him, dude was a lyrical genius. I get the pac fans but no question biggie was lyrically on a superior level
If he lived longer than 24 we'd be calling him the undisputed GOAT. But for me he's still behind Rakim.
