Not to speak for the OP, but that's not necessarily the case. I think luck can play a bit of a role, sure, but I think doing your homework plays a much bigger role. What's the feedback here? What's their personality like on their socials? How do they engage with you? And being a good client - asking about boundaries, respectful, good hygiene, engaging in the session - absolutely plays the biggest role. As the song says, you get what you give.
Now because I'm not in town regularly, I'm generally not looking to take risks. I'm usually pre-booking and not taking my chances on walk-ins. And I've stuck to five of the big six spots. So I think that helps my odds of good experiences too.
But in the end, over the time that I've been coming into town, I've seen I think 23 different Ottawa ladies (including a couple on the OP's list) - either in Ottawa or when they've come to work in Toronto. I've repeated with about half of them, some of them several times. Out of all of those, I think there's only one with whom I wouldn't repeat, and that wasn't even an actively bad session and probably still would have met the +1 definition. We just didn't entirely click, mostly age-related. I've not had any appointment in those that I'd consider a 0, and definitely not any that I'd consider "bad". And I wouldn't consider myself very lucky, and don't think my bar is especially low.
