You beat me to it.Stupid policy and a slippery slope. What's next, alcohol? I'm sure the ever growing Muslim population would like to see that.
I too fear that "slippery slope".You beat me to it.
I believe in something called personal responsibility. Want to smoke your lungs into oblivion? Be my guest.
All this crap about "government knows best what's good for you". Next alcohol... Then after that sugar... Then excessive fats and junk food... Next thing you know we're all gonna live the same lifestyle, eat and drink only the "safe choices" prescribed by the government. No, thank you.
Not the same thing.I too fear that "slippery slope".
Still, some things that people hated when they were instituted, such as mandatory seat belts and motorcycle helmets, were initially hard to enforce, but eventually people learned to accept them.
And they have saved many lives...
I mostly agree with you, but I draw the line at cigarettes. What purpose do they serve in society??You beat me to it.

I apologize for quitting my 40 cigarettes a day habit 39 years ago, at age 41.Given the state of our healthcare system, we should encourage smoking. Smokers generally die off pretty quickly. It's the healthy people that cling to life forever costing us all a lot of money.
If they do I will start a revoltI bet they won't ban Alcohol though.![]()
Hey. Even though I quit 39 years ago I still have "I'm still smoking" dreams. Wake up so happy it was just a dream...Banning it doesn’t erase addiction overnight
No, but a severe asthma attack and a very un-understanding nurse set me straight. Needing oxygen was a bridge too far me, knew it had to go and was on Zyban the next day.Banning it doesn’t erase addiction overnight
I bet they won't ban Alcohol though.![]()
This is amazing !!! it’s sickening that I can’t even walk In A park without having to smell cigarettes. I wish people who smoked would just sit in their car and smoke the whole pack and get it over with alreadyThe UK has made smoking cancer sticks illegal for anyone born after 2008.
Its about time a country did this, and I hope Canada follows suit

Smoking will be BANNED for anyone born after 2008 as landmark legislation passes
CHILDREN aged 17 or under will face a lifelong ban on buying cigarettes in a “landmark” bill which hopes to make a smoke-free generation. The Tobacco and Vapes Bill passed through Parli…www.the-sun.com
No because they make everyone else around them responsible and make us all sick with them. There’s second hand and third hand smoke too. They should all just have to smoke outside in a cold place until they dieYou beat me to it.
