That film was so bad I actually forgot it existed. Scrubbed it from my mind entirely.

Just watched the first episode of Euphoria and I nearly lost my dinner. I couldn't tell if this was S3 of Euphoria or S2 of The Idol. It was grim and intensely depressing, I could tell from his face that Jacob Elordi didn't want to be there. Sam Levinson is intent on making the cast suffer, getting the worst of it is Chloe Cherry. I feel sorry for her, she's worked very hard to become a mainstream actor, Sam Levinson is going to abuse her worse than what Lily Rose Depp got in The Idol. Zendaya went through the same ordeal but not as bad, plus her career is established. To Quote The Rock, Sam Levinson is a sick freak.

Old shows like that have such a charm that I feel like is uncapturable in this day and age, they're so fun to watch
I could not agree more.

M*A*S*H and Mission Impossible are some of my favourite television shows I like to occasionally re-watch.

HBO were ambitious, when they created Rome they wanted a show to match I Claudius. That show was produced on a shoestring budget back in 1976. It was staged on a soap opera set...and it still has an 8.8/10 on the IMDB audience score.

It was rated X by British censors.

'' No, the 1976 BBC production of I, Claudius was not rated X by British censors. As a BBC television series, it was not subjected to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) theatrical rating system ''

Here is some hard truth's about Rome. Viewership collapsed after S1, Ciaran Hinds was mesmeric as Julius Caesar no one in S2 could match his drawing power. S2 was over-dramatized to the point of disbelief, Octavian would not have survived without the Agrippa family of Napoli. Yet the show made Marcus Agrippa look like a nobody. The exact opposite was true, he won The Battle of Actium, allow Octavian to become Emperor Augustus. You can't gloss over major details and stay relevant.

David Chase knew this, that's why The Sopranos of NJ ran the Di Meo Family. He tied fiction to fact brilliantly.
