It's one of the better cop shows that's ever aired.
I just finished all 5 seasons as I really like police procedural shows. While I definitely enjoyed it I was kind of bothered by the loose ends and holes in the plot but it was still a good show with a ton of cool celebrity cameos.
Been watching re runs of The Mod Squad on CHCH, watched it sporadically as a pre teen in the day. Fun hearing how we used to talk back then: "Groovy' , "I'm hip!", "Solid", "Dig it?"....etc
Lots of young actors that were starting their careers, Annette O'toole , Stanley Kamel, Tyne Daly, Ed Asner , Desi Arnaz Jr....etc

Old shows like that have such a charm that I feel like is uncapturable in this day and age, they're so fun to watch

I still think no mystery/whodunit show can ever come close to the greatness that is Columbo. That show is on an entirely different level.

Yeah... I'm kind of in it for the long haul now. I struggled through season 2 but got through it then blasted through season 3. There's a lot of bad acting in that show but it keeps pulling me back in with the "need for answers"! lol
season 2 was boring as hell i get why you stopped half way through it gets better though imo
is alex cross as good as the books? i really enjoy the patterson books but have been wary of watching the show
