I wasn’t even thinking of going to Sao Paulo since I already had Rio and Iguazu Falls as part of my first Brazil trip but since many reports claim the mongering scene in SP is better than in Rio, I thought that I would spend a few days especially since for some reason, Air Canada has regular direct flights between SP and Toronto (whereas direct flights with Rio are only seasonal). So I added in SP as the last part of my trip - already posted my trip report on Rio here.
Arrival to SP & Moema
I knew that SP was a much bigger city than Rio and I fly in from Foz Do Iguazu which I used as a nice little break to see the falls in between Rio and SP. One thing I like about SP is that there are direct trains from the airport into the city when Rio did not. So instead of using an Uber, I took the train/metro route. It did take a lot of transfers - about 4-5 altogether but after about an hour, I finally made it to Moema where my Airbnb was.
I decided to stay in Moema because this is where many of the daytime clinicas are located and they were going to be my main targets. Moema has a lot of modern condo buildings and my Airbnb was much nicer than the one I had in Rio. Although I didn’t have a beach gym in Ipanema anymore, the building here had a gym and a pool. Security was similar to that in Rio where a guy on duty 24 hours per day opens the main building door so I’m not sure how easy it would have been to bring any guests in. In any case for my first trip here I had intended to use only onsite rooms at venues for sessions.
The Metro stop was less than a five minute walk as well as two different grocery stores. Moema itself is a pretty chill uncrowded neighbourhood with condos, some eateries and bars as well as a few auto service businesses near the end closer to the domestic airport. Speaking about the airport, the main complaint about staying in Moema has been the airplane noise as planes fly pretty darn low here. In all honesty, the airplanes didn’t bother me at all since they start up at around 6 am and continue until about 11 pm which was fine by me as overnight was otherwise pretty quiet.
Tourist Sights In SP
I’ll quickly mention about tourist sights in SP since one of the reasons why I originally didn’t include SP in my trip was because of the lack of much to see and do in a big city like this. SP doesn’t have beautiful natural scenery like Rio does. I did do a walk along Paulista Avenue which is the main street in the city but it was just a big city street with concrete and buildings to me. There is MASP which is an art museum and I did take advantage of free admission Tuesdays. It’s okay for a quick visit but I’m sure glad I didn’t have other pay admission for it.
Beco Do Batman or Batman Alley was worth a quick visit as it’s a graffiti art filled alley in a funky bohemian area. The city’s municipal mercado was worth a visit to try out a giant mortadello sandwich but just keep your cellphone in your pocket with your hand inside it when walking from the Metro since it’s a busy chaotic area much like centro in Rio or Medellin. Lots of police presence though so I felt pretty safe.
I also checked out Liberdade which is the Japanese district during my final day but I was less impressed here - I’m Asian so I guess I have different standards when it comes to Asian stuff! Other than that, I didn’t really find much else to do in SP in terms of tourist stuff. I think it’s more culture with locals more than anything else here.
Moema Clinicas
Okay so for the main mongering content which is what you are all mostly interested in. My plan for this was just to tour the different daytime clinicas in Moema. Clinicas are the SP equivalent of Rio prives which are the daytime brothels. But instead of being in office buildings in busy centro in Rio, the clinicas here in Moema are in ground level properties that do not have signage for privacy. So you have to know the number address to find the different clinicas and usually there’s a buzzer out in front or in the case of Moema Prime, there’s somebody out front.
I arrived on a Sunday late afternoon when only 1-2 clinicas open and chose to just rest up from a travel day. So the next morning on Monday after coming back from my mercado visit, I hit the clinicas at around 3 pm starting with Moema Prime. Their reception area as with all other clinicas here are much larger than the prives in Rio. Upon arrival, the receptionist calls for the presentation of girls and much like in Rio, they come one at a time and introduce themselves. Instead of kissing me on both cheeks like the Rio girls, they kiss only on one side - guess it’s a geographic thing. Upon my first visit Moema Prime had only two available girls and I passed on both.
The next clinica was Spa Moah which was only about five minutes walk away. Same type of setup and they had only about three girls which were not to my liking either. I then walked less than three minutes to the next one which was Miruna Clinica and they had about six girls upon presentation of which I liked about two and decided to session with one of them. I was quoted 250 R for 30 minutes and 350 R for an hour so prices have gone up from older reports. I already knew that rates here in SP would be a bit higher than in Rio but for the 350 hour rate I took it was still pretty good for me.
The rooms at Miruna as well as at the other clinicas were much nicer than the prives in Rio. Not only were they generally bigger but the beds were bigger and all had ensuite bathrooms instead of a separate shower outside in a hallway. Each bathroom also had mouthwash which was not existent in Rio.
For my next day after visiting Paulista Ave and Beco Do Batman, I came back to Moema and did the tour again starting at Moema Prime. This time they had about five girls available at around 2 pm and I chose one to session at also the 350 R for an hour rate. Much like at Miruna, the room was much nicer than in Rio. Moema Prime also had surprisingly good free coffee too.
No Night Mongering On This Trip
I’m aware that most guys who come to SP just go nuts over Scandallo and Casarao. I didn’t go near them. At age 65, I’m a one session per day guy now and the daytime clinicas were fine by me so I didn’t need to go out at night for another round.
When I looked at the average rates at Scandallo, it would be a minimum of about 1800 to 2000 R for a night with one single session on site. Yes I know that there are over 100 women all dressed to party there but I don’t need 100 as I need only one. I’ve been to venues around the world where there are similar scenes with countless numbers of hot women like the big FKKs in Germany and the bigger venues in Thailand. But again I don’t need so many. I’m also not wiling to pay premium just to be in a luxurious environment like Scandallo.
Once clothes are off and your dick is inside a girl’s mouth or inside her pussy, I’m not sold that one in Scandallo is going to be worth that much better in terms of a session’s quality especially when compared to the clinicas. Where I think a venue like Scandallo (and the termas in Rio) might be better is if I go back to SP with a buddy or group since hanging out at a club would be fun in between sessions and looking at the eye candy. But for a solo mongerer, I’m not convinced that the premium of being in a nightclub boate scenario is better than in a clinica.
Casarao would have still been in my acceptable price range for a session but the fact that they don’t open until 10 pm and things don’t get cooking until around midnight just doesn’t work for me. I really don’t understand why things have to go so late. I like to get up at 6 am in the morning and that means in bed by 11 pm.
Final Day In SP
I still had one final day to session in SP before getting to the airport for my return flight so this time I hit the Moema clinicas early when they open at 11 am. Well I learned something here. I first went to Enjoy Spa at about 11:15 am and although the receptionist was already there, she said no girls showed up yet. Abbobora, another clinica doesn’t open until noon so unfortunately I didn’t get to check them out.
I went back to Spa Moah to see if I could give them any business and at about 11:30 am, the receptionist there also told me no girls were there yet. Then I went to Miruna where I already sessioned and only one girl was there and she was not to my liking. So I decided to return to Moema Prime and they had only two girls. I also passed on them.
So I learned that for the clinicas, this was way too early for them. I had one other option I didn’t explore before. Only a block away from my Airbnb was Clinica Carinas which is a higher level type of clinica. There was another venue in this similar category called Moema Spa which I didn’t check out but if you look at their websites, they seem to be at another level focusing on massages. I decided to walk into Clinica Carinas and the guy who was at reception told me that they had only three girls available. It was about noon by this time. He told me that unlike at the other clinicas I already went to, there’s no live presentations here. Instead he shows me the girls available on a tablet and unlike the photos on their website, there are many more shots on the tablet and some nudies. He said the rates are 500 R for an hour for standard massage while one girl also does nuru for 600 R for an hour.
I had wanted to try nuru in Brazil after just loving both nuru and soapy massages in Thailand. I wanted to compare nuru here with those I had in Asia and if Brazilian girls are suppose to be the most sensual in the world, their nuru must be really something. There were massage spas in Rio that had nuru but apparently the only extras offered are hj/bj. I did read somewhere that in SP it might be different and the massages here might be inclusive of full sessions. So as a last ditch opportunity to session, I chose the girl for a nuru.
I generally did not want to commit to any session without seeing the girl in person first but this was my final time for my Brazil tour. I was asked to go to a room and it was really nice, even nicer than the rooms at the other Moema clinicas. This room was on another level sort of like a hotel room that also had ensuite bathroom.
When my girl showed up, I was surprised that she was able to speak English, the only girl on my Brazil tour that could. She was super friendly and had your typical Brazilian body, ie., a bit full figured with a meaty butt. SP vs Rio?
After my lovely session at Clinica Carinas, I hopped on the Metro to have a late lunch in Liberdade before using the Metro train to get to the airport for just over 5 R.
So one big question now might be — SP vs Rio for mongering, which is better? In terms of the cities, Rio definitely has the superior natural scenery and maybe more to do from a tourist point of view where SP does not really have any scenery and is just a big concrete jungle of a city. But the setup at the mongering venues at least in terms of the daytime options - SP clinicas vs Rio prives - SP clinicas most definitely win out with much nicer venues but rates are a bit higher.
As for the girls, I found more diversity in Rio among them especially more black and mulattos where most of the girls available in SP were more white and tanned. From my limited experience, maybe the lineups in SP clinicas were slightly better than in the Rio prives but I still found gems to my liking in Rio.
With the exception of the nuru session I had at Clinica Carinas, the quality of the sessions at the SP clinicas and the Rio prives were about the same for me. With more time, I would have repeated with girls in both cities but to spend more time with them outside of their venues, I would have to get accommodations which were guaranteed to be guest friendly and get better command of Portuguese for sure.
I’ve had a few Spanish speaking Latin American trips behind me so I’m better at Spanish than Portuguese. Brazil is a big country so chances of coming back are high if I include visits to the Amazon and diving at Fernando do Noranha with additional time back in SP and/or Rio. If SP, I would stay in Moema again just because it’s so chill and easy to navigate the daytime options.
For me at this point, there’s no clear winner between SP and Rio. I’ve seen all the touristy attractions I want to see in both cities so return trips would not include them. So I would have to decide in addition to the mongering, which city would keep me from getting less bored when I’m not sessioning. Rio is a bit dirtier as a town. If I had to decide, I think for me SP has a slight edge over Rio because of the infrastructure of the city and the better venues but not by a ton.
At this point, there’s even no clear winner between Brazilians vs Colombians vs Cubans as I’ve had great times as well as not so great sessions with all of them. In any case, I hope this report has some useful info for those of you planning a trip to SP and for Rio, my report is already posted separately.
