Spa's are pretty well safer for both parties involved. The risk of getting robbed at a spa are pretty much nil. Not to mention, if scheduling gets fucked up, there is almost always a backup.
I've walked into hotels questioning if I should be there. Ive read a number of stories of guys waiting in bathrooms while the providers take the cash and threaten the "hobbyist".

I kind of don’t mind, they got great water pressure and I just stay in the hot shower until she comes. Sometimes they will hop in with you, but doesn’t like hot water.
