Anybody going to see them in August in Toronto. Would love to go but a bit out of my price range. However after seeing them play at the Junos I might just bite the bullet.

Rush always had class. John Rutsey was a diabetic and couldn't tour. Lee and Leifson recorded an album with him so he'd be part of the discography, Il Professore was already on book while the first album was being recorded. They were going to call this song Cosa Fai.

Hell yeah! Haven’t missed a tour since Hemispheres. Going to LA and Toronto. My first long awaited trip to their hometownToronto, from San Diego. Can’t wait to see them and sample some fine Canadian ladies. And see Lakeside Park.

Not trying to be annoying, but just wanted to point out Alex Lifeson was born in Fernie, BC.

Of course I know exactly where it is, I’m an insane Rush fanatic! Thanks. It’s just under an hour from our Air BnB. There’s no way I could be that close and not go there. I’ve been listening to that song for decades, imagining what it would be like to go there. I’ve read that it’s not all that great. But that’s not the point.

I live in St. Catharine’s so I’ve been to Lakeside Park many times. It’s not a bad place to spend a few hours. Go for a walk around the harbour, out to the pier. If it’s nice spend some time sunbathing on the beach. There’s some decent restaurants close by and I believe a craft brewery. If you’re staying in Toronto should be about a 60-90 minute drive depending on the traffic. The QEW does get quite busy in the summer so give yourself plenty of time.
