A guy a knew years ago said that he used to be a waiter at the restaurant in the Westin Harbour Castle.

Tiger dined there one night while he was in town and didn't leave a tip....So if this story is true then I'm guessing he's not the hire a driver type of guy.

He told me this before Tiger's fall from grace
He does have a reputation as being a poor tipper.

He refused the urine test, which he has the right to do. But it's punishable by up to 60 days in jail. The defense will likely argue that he refused, citing it's a privacy issue. Saying he doesn't want the world to know all the medications he's on. They'll likely work out a deal. Maybe agree to go to rehab and probation. He's got lots of money to hire very good lawyers. That's the way I see it going down.

We all think why doesnt he get a chauffeur but for some people the only moment of solitude they get is when theyre driving

I think Tiger doesn't want to give that up
Perhaps. And some of us just like to drive.

But the whole “celebrities never find solitude” thing always puzzled me. Being surrounded by people is a choice no matter how rich or famous you are. You live in a fucking mansion, find a room for yourself If you want to be alone for a while. Build a shed in the garden with a big screen and video games (or whatever hobby stuff you want) and tell the world to fuck off when you wan’t solitude.

I think celebrities like Woods need attention and fawning adoration more than they want quiet time alone.

Time to get a chauffeur, Lord knows you can afford it.
Tiger is notoriously cheap when it comes to money. This is a big part of the reason why supermarket tabloids buy unflattering stories about him from disgruntled former employees, people who work in the service industries, etc.

On the other hand, Frank Sinatra was famously generous to those same people, which is why none of them ever saw anything when they saw Frank in the company of someone attempting to collect an overdue debt behind a restaurant while they were having a smoke break.

One of my buddies from Tuesday poker night in the mid nineties had been a waiter at Red Lobster; I think it was close to Bay and Dundas West? Anyway, he said Doug Christie, who played for the Raptors at that time, tipped a dollar on a $90 bill.

In the 1998-99 NBA season there was a player's strike, and games didn't start until early January, 1999. In the Raptors first game at Boston, fans threw coins on the court during player introductions, in an act of collective sarcasm. Christie was seen scooping dimes and quarters off the parquet floor of the court, and stuffing them in the top of his sock.

Guy is close to, if not a complete billionaire and he insists on driving himself around versus spending $250k on a fulltime driver. What an idiot.

His wife had to smash the car windshield to get him out of the car, she then divorced him and got 200 million.

He's going to kill somebody. It's just a matter of time. Then he will do real time.

Tiger is still driving? He has chronic back problems - Lindsey Von ruined him..

He was probably strung out on opioids when he won his last Wimbledon.
