Thank you for posting this review and bringing this to our attention. We genuinely appreciate it.
We're not the type who won't admit when we're wrong. We do think we kinda messed up on this one, and when we do, there are no excuses — we're deeply sorry.
For those who may not know, Rin is actually not a completely new face. If you've been with us since the very beginning, you might have seen her once before. She stopped by for a few days back in 2024, and when we first met her, she was a very ordinary Japanese model visiting Toronto. At that time, we honestly didn't think we'd ever work with her again because our quality standards have improved significantly since then.
The reason we decided to give her another chance is that Rin turned out to be a little different from most Japanese models we meet. Typically, the models we encounter are working to goto to hostess clubs back in Japan (we know it sounds strange, but it's genuinely a real thing) or saving up for cosmetic procedures. Rin was different. She told us she was working because she wanted to study abroad at a university in the US. It's honestly very rare to see a model working toward something like that. Later, we found out she really did go — and she even started cheerleading at her school. Because of that, we felt she had grown a lot as a person, that she brought something unique to the table, and we had very high expectations for her with this new life experience. Everything we wrote in her description on our website was real and honest. We do acknowledge that the labelling this time was not accurate, it was different from our expectation.
She visited our London location about a month ago and everything was normal. This time, she insisted on coming to Waterloo. Before she arrived, we repeatedly told her that Waterloo now has extremely high standards and expectations — so high that even some of the best Japanese professionals don't do well here. She told us she understood and insisted on coming, so we gave her the opportunity.
However, we're not sure what went wrong this time. Not only did we receive complaints from customers who usually never complain, but she also managed to break two laundry machines — one in London and one in Waterloo — on back-to-back days. She even flooded an entire room in Waterloo. Whether it was a mood issue or something else, we honestly don't know.
All we can say is: we're deeply sorry to everyone who had a bad experience with her. We always try our best, but sometimes things happen that are beyond our control. We also acknowledge that the labelling we gave her this time was not accurate, we had a few good reviews but it was not stable— it did not reflect the experience our customers actually received, and that's on us.
We have stopped working with Rin, and you will not see her at our agency again.
Anyone who had a negative experience with her during this visit is welcome to reach out to our customer service team for a resolution. This is not what you should expect from Sakura Dreams, and it's not what we stand for.
Thank you, always.
