You are using US metrics.
In Canada you need at least 6 years post secondary, including two years teacher's college to be considered. And it can be difficult to get into the college. Then you have to find the job. And here they pay well, with arguably one the best pension plans in the nation. We also have, from what I have seen a much calmer school system. As much as they can be anyway. We don't have the same burn out rates.
I fully agree with firing teachers who engage in porn. Not out only some sort of morality thing but teacher's need to be respected. And that goes out the window with this.

I think the headmaster should have been obliged to provide the Judge with an affidavit signed by the 'confidential source' who ratted her out. The Judge should have no obligation to have to share that information with the defendant.

Pretty sure this was a U.S. case since the Canadian legal system does not demean itself by having a paid entertainment judicial offshoot like Wapner, Judge Judy, or whoever the hell this attractive Black lady is. Yes and start at 55-60,000 per year, go up by about 3,500 per year until they top out, get cost of living increases. Benefits, full pension, summers off etc.
That's not a knock on them. They work hard. But tuition is reasonable. Room and board is paid anyway, its also called rent and groceries by everyone else. And every student needs books.
Good practical idea. They can now teach CHILDREN how to draw. I remember my clouring class we were just supposed to draw like we were born with the skill. Waste of time that made me feel incompetent.
Concerning the OP, if the teacher wants to explore her sexuality no moral judgement should be made, but her deciion to go public was very bad judgement on her part. Her claim that she was private behind a paywall is weak as going on the internet is never fully private. She broke the contract she wrote with the private school were she was teaching minors.

Shakeshaft believes women grab the headlines because tabloid-style news outlets focus on the salacious value like that in the Van Halen video for clicks and readership.
One New York tabloid recently used a young married teacher’s move to another state as an excuse to dredge up the teacher’s 2022 Washington case and report in nearly pornographic detail the “depraved, hours long sex marathon” she had with a 17-year-old.
“It feels like voyeurism,” Shakeshaft said of much of the reporting. “It’s not like they’re reporting a crime.”
She continued, “And we minimize the danger — the harm and danger to boys — because we make it seem as if there’s some kind of conquest. Like this is just some kind of gift to boys.”
