George Bell catching the final out and dropping to his knees to celebrate in '85 to capture AL East pennant for very first time.

1992- Roberto Alomar's HR off Dennis Eckersley (he was a BJ killer) to tie game , eventually won it in extra innings , it gave Jays the confidence to finally beat A's and eventually winning the WS.

Agreed - have a clipping of the Toronto Sun front page framed. Great memory.

I'm surprised that it has taken 5 replies to see the name Joe Carter!!!

Cabbagetown
Justin Smoak made an error at first base, and Cliff Pennington yells from the dugout "I've got your glove!", holding a frying pan, (2015).

George Bell telling rookies at spring training to go to the clubhouse and bring back a bucket of steam and the keys to the batter's box.

Central Ont. between here & there
"Touch them all Joe"
Chance to be on the bench to witness a friend throw out 1st pitch.
Tickets to every home playoff game in 92 & 93.
Being there every year for many games since they started at the EX, opening game of the dome, until the Strike in 94. Not been back since.
Lots of great memories.

Lindsey Dunn is my 50th Anniversary favorite.

I'm old, I still remember when Labatts hired Artie Johnson to promote the expansion baseball team.

2 times
1st..
We were in the Left field bleachers about 5 rows back..Ricky Henderson was just perusing the crowd before the 1st batter...fans were settling in..he was looking in our direction so I stood up and yelled
"Hey Ricky..how's it feel to be the only hotdogs with extra mustard going into the HALL OF FAME?"
Crowd burst out laughing...he pointed right at me and gave the thumbs up...Lol
2nd..
We were in 1 of the hotels room overlooking the field
Brewers were in town
Mike Maksudia?(SP) I think that's his last name..former Jay..he's looking up at all the rooms
I yelled.. throw me a ball!
He pointed to his Jersey like..You a Brewers fan?
I gave him a thumbs up
So he starts tossing balls at me ...missed twice 1 hit the concrete..other went into the restaurant area below us smashing a couples drinks..3rd time ball came right in our window and I caught it..Still have the ball..LOL

Went to a lot of games their first year with my HS buddies.
One time during batting practice, we were at the right field stands right at the visiting Brewer's bull pen. Jay's Roy Howell hits a 2 hopper line drive right to me, I lean over and snare it, coach Frank Howerd who was right there talking to pitcher Bill Travers, he says to me "Nice catch!" Frank Howerd was huge, same height as Aaron Judge, large frame.
We then chatted them up for a while. I'll never forget that.

Going to a playoff game on in the 90s. Getting cut off alcohol sales in the 3rd inning.
Watching George Brett hit for the cycle.
Field view hotel room parties.
Pre game yukking it up with Jose Canseco.
Back at the Ex, getting front row tickets from a season ticket holder at face. The Jay's dugout roof was my drink holder.
Rachel the bartender at section 126 bar over pouring my Wiser's shots for many seasons.
Winning a 50/50 draw, $7500.
Many Opening Days.

so many good times

At work, Mark Eichorn, Jays side arm reliever, real friendly dude, did his impression of "Popeye" for my colleagues and myself.

Walking through Eatons, I walked past George Bell at a sales counter, some kid behind me says "Holy shit!, that's Jesse Barfield" LOL

Used to live in a condo just a short walk to the Dome, I joined the line up at the Rabba store there and Fred Mcgriff is ahead of me, Big dude , about 6'4" tall with shoulders as wide as a barn door.

All the Sunday double headers sitting in the right field aluminum bleachers, rowdy fans in that section!

During one game in 1993, I was 2nd row right near 1st base - I yelled out at John Olerud for his helmet and accused him of hiding a crappy haircut. He took his helmet off for me and I got a huge ovation.

I was at game 5 of the 1992 WS and was about 8 feet away from where Lonnie Smith's grand slam landed. Thankfully the next game was Timlin to Carter...

The 1st game of World Series 1992. What the club had been striving for for 15 years, finally became a reality. They didn't win the game, thanks to Glavine, but they showed they belonged. We all know what happened in the end.

If I'm not mistaken, in the beginning of this telecast, they show two kids playing catch with a hockey puck. And then the Canadian national anthem was sung with our flag upside down. Toronto media really didn't like that.
