There is forced labor in the US, the prison industrial complex. Half of the people in lockup are there because they can not pay bail. The US has one of the highest incarceration rates in the world.
And what are they in jail for exactly?
The half that in jail because they can not afford bail is for mickey mouse non violent crime, they are in jail because they are poor. The other half, I have no idea.
In any case, it does not matter why you are in jail; forced labor is forced labor.
Kamala had no problems with the charms of forced labour in her state as I recall.

Trump's plans for Canada are far worse than China's.
"Official" Chinese stats say there are 500k Uyghurs in prison so likely this number is understated with estimates coming in at least 1m to 1.8m. They are actually the most imprisoned ethnic group in the entire world even using Chinese understated stats (more than el salvador or any ethnic group in the U.S. by far.) I'm sure an overwhelming majority of them are sitting in prison for the heinous crimes of attending mosques, expressing cultural or religious identity or using a VPN all of which are signs of "pre-criminality."
