Trump made the comments while speaking to reporters before boarding Air Force One on Monday. He did not name the Iranian officials engaged in talks, but said he had not spoken with Mojtaba Khamenei, who was formally installed as Iran's supreme leader earlier this month.
"We're gonna get together today," Trump said, saying the meeting will be by phone. He predicted that the war could end in the next 5-day period if the exchange "goes well."
He said either Iran will agree to a deal or "otherwise we'll just keep bombing our little hearts out."

That spike will only be temporary though, cause the longer this war goes on, the more the markets are going to tank (pun intended)
No doubt an opposite trade will miraculously occur at just the right time again.
Because of the Trump factor, I can't help but speculate about the pump and dump aspect of it.
It is a double edged sword.
Vietnam saw a lot of casualties and public opinion was negative for the war the longer it went on.
This war already has negative public opinion, so I don't see it becoming pro-war. I think it will backfire massively.
It is why Iran called it fake news lol.
I am surprised no one ever brings this up in any analysis.
War profiteering, and stock manipulation has to be a crime right?
Trump cannot be found guilty of any crime he commits in the process of his "official duties".
Saying things about war and peace are official duties, so insider trading isn't a crime he can be found guilty of.

The other people trading can, of course, but his DOJ would never prosecute that.
I would note Butler is also pointing out the trading aspect.
I have also heard some reports Putin threatened Isreal with a Nuke hit if they use one in the region. If this is true it basically takes that option out of the equation. Meaning conventional munitions only. Imo that does not favor USA and Israel in the long term.
The USA public can be an odd duck. But these people are not living in reality but trying to create it.
As much as it's obvious that this is an existential war for Iran, I believe it's also an existential war for the U.S.
Aside from what Israel gains territorially and politically from this war, I believe the U.S. is fighting to maintain a global financial system
in place along with currency privilege that is the entire underpinning of it's economic system and global influence.
Iran's demand to transact in yuan tells you almost everything, and it it tells you who the big ally is laying in the weeds.
