I have no issue with PP really. He was fine. But he did, without realizing it, show one reason why he he isn't ready to be PM right now.

Care to know? It's quite legit.
He didn't lie or sidestep any questions...Where do I claim my kewpie doll?

He himself, in explaining the role of the opposition, said its main function beyond being the critic of the government, is to be the government in waiting. That at any moment, he can should be ready to be PM if a non confidence vote occurs.

However he is not ready because due to his refusal to get his security clearance, he is not up to speed on a lot of important and classified information the PM needs to make national security decisions. This is important.

Did you know during a US presidential campaign as soon as the nominees are chosen they are given the same briefings as the sitting president? During the campaign?

That is why he isn't ready. His stated reason is because he feels it would inhibit his role as opposition leader.

Fine. Then he can STAY there.

Sure. He is on the same page as Carney. He also said that in the podcast.

He did a good job explaining our system to Rogan. Hopefully he wasn't too stoned so he will remember.

Poilievre's policies were well before Carney, and till this day he isn't doing anything like Poilievre is suggesting. Carney is an imposter.

I don't care to know, because I point out many things wrong with Carney and face push back.

Look up! It's right there. And quite relevant.

I find it truly amazing that people here want Canada to become a U.N. satellite state where we no longer will have national sovereignty over our resources. If that's what you call 'winning' then I guess I'm the biggest loser.

It's just amazing how his detractors keep rehashing the same BS.

Now buck up and give me my kewpie doll.

It's an opinion. Both have merit. I prefer at this point someone, especially in light of the world the way it is, to be informed on national security, and let shadow cabinet do its thing, instead of hogging the spotlight.

Your point has no merit...Just Liberal BS.

Dude you don't get it...He would be hogtied...He wouldn't be able to talk about anything.

He had it when he was a cabinet member under Harper...

You seem to be very ignorant of recent Canadian Federal politics. What source (s) do you get current events news from ?
Carney has successfully copied, (co-opted =stolen= acquired in political jargon) numerous policies from the Poilievre camp such as immigration levels, “axe the tax” on carbon, pipeline, housing and the GST, defence spending and the size of government to name a few as Carney steers the Liberals to the centre towards a majority.
PP is a political “Sisyphus “ for the Federal Conservatives towards then forming a government.

Has Poilievre not getting his security clearance helped or hurt his fortunes towards winning an election ?
Apparently, it is the latter, especially now with all that is going on in Canada domestically and globally.
PP’s game is not working, unless he just wants to stay in opposition.

btw( Candy Loving was an all natural stunning classic beauty)

So Carney has successfully adopted many of PP’s policies.
MAGA Trump is not trying to annex Mexico, he trying to annex Canada and strip it down for parts which is why trade talks with American might be going slower than with Mexico. Trump keeps saying that Canada should be part of America, he doesn’t say the same about Mexico now does he !

Candy is an all time great no argument there.

As for Pierre, his issue has always been a lack of charisma...The whole security clearance issue is a red herring. Poilievre doesn't resonate with the soccer mom crowd.

If you don't have national security briefings in an emergency, oh like say WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, he is unprepared. It's that simple.
You keep on regurgitating the same BS...His role is to challenge Carney he can't do that if he's muzzled.

Rogan praised Canada for Legal Pot. PP agreed it was about freedom of choice.

Rogan has no idea who legalized it I guess. And PP voted against it.
