Canada has been in a recession since a long while all thanks to Justin Trudeau and Carney who is following Trudeau's agenda. Till people wake up and stop voting for the crap Liberal party Canada will not improve.

You think PP will improve?

Trump is an economic disaster, which is reflected in canada.

But hey, the Republican Party that starts wars and brings the US to recessions is pretty much a pattern for the last 40 years.

You are delusional. The last ten years was not enough for you as proof? Before Canada was in a far better place we did not have a housing crisis or homeless everywhere. I know facts are hard for you to accept. It is not about if Poilievre will be better, it is to switch things up and give someone else a chance. Trudeau was the biggest disaster Canada has ever had, that is fact. Carney was Trudeau's economic advisor for five years. That is fact. Carney still has the same cabinet as Trudeau plus he has a POS like Mark Wiseman who leads the Century Initiative who wants 100 million people by 2100. The fact Trudeau voted for the Century Initiative is the reason we got a housing crisis. All facts. So time to give someone else a chance. Like Albert Einstein said, doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is an example of insanity.

Loool You are like a sheep. Do you got Trump Derangement Syndrome? Dude Trump did not do this to Canada. Trump came in power in 2025. He was not the one that caused a housing crisis, or decreasing productivity, or the biggest gap between rich and poor Canada has ever had. Trudeau did that. Wake up. All you Liberals make me laugh, your focus is on one thing, Trump. Lol[/QUOTE]

Huh.
You don't care if things will get better, you just want change.
"It's their turn, so people should vote for them no matter what, even if it makes things worse"?

That's a weird position to take.

Trudeau used immigration to prop up the economy. I've said that Carney will do the same come 2027.

Because people change and evolve over time and the idea that "it says Liberal, therefore it is exactly the same" is obviously silly.
But you are specifically claiming you don't care if things get better.
You just think everyone should vote for PP as prime minister because its their turn.

I presume you would be just as happy with the NDP, since you don't care either way?

Politics isn’t the place for self improvement. I’m serious about certain policy changes and if you keep voting in the party that doesn’t bring that change then that would be insanity.

Of course I want things to get better, but it will not with the same corrupt Liberal party. We need someone else in charge.

Trudeau just propped up the GDP. His single obsession with never ending GDP growth even if GDP per capita dropped. Only an entitled garbage trust fund baby like Trudeau would intentionally cause more poverty. He was warned by economists two years prior that his mass immigration policy would cause a housing crisis. He did not care.

It will not with Carney. What part of facts you are not understanding? Carney was Trudeau's economic advisor for five years. He has roughly the same cabinet as Trudeau. The NDP is responsible for propping up a corrupt lieing bastard like Trudeau. Poilievre would be a huge improvement.

So you support voting for the NDP if they could get power?

So even if the Liberals did make things better and you knew the Conservatives would make things worse, you would say people should vote Conservative?

Oh, so you've changed your mind!
Now you do think it is about that Pollievre would be better.

Why specifically deny that earlier, then?

They operate with the assumption that Conservatives will do the exact opposite of what the Liberals did, and whatever that is, is desirable. Which is not necessarily true and obviously silly.

Except then they wouldn't argue it doesn't matter whether or not they make things better.

That's the only part I'm objecting to here.

They can say they prefer conservative policies.
They can say that even if the results are the same or worse, not being as corrupt (which they believe the Cons to be) is a positive good on its own merits.

I just found the "it doesn't matter, but it needs to be someone else's turn" a very weird argument.

I doubt Canada will improve with either party. Their economic strategies never happen due to reasons beyond my comprehension.

Canada has lots of shit to sell. Natural gas, potash, oil, minerals, lumber, metal etc yet we really don't sell it on a scale that would grow gdp. Regulations, tree huggers, natives, the general public totally fuck with the ability to access and bring shit to market by a private company so they can make a profit. People want free shit, more access to services, not to have tax increases but the problem they don't clue into is it cost money. Selling our resources would bring more taxes which would pay for it. Even smarter would to be start a fund from excise taxes like the swiss or swedish which basically covers their spending needs.

Nope Canada as a business or being financially responsible or savvy is not going to happen. Feels over reals.

Trudeau happened, It's over. Now what? We have to hold these leaders accountable. Some people got to stop with the excuses.

With that said, I think things are going to get much worse before they get better.
