The MAGA virus has escaped into the world, created by a 34 felon count , honey trapped convict who is now responsible for a global tariff war and a military war that is surely going to do more damaging than the Covid-19 pandemic did to the global economies. Many will die !
That a milquetoast like PP was on Rogan at a time like this, means very little.
So the general consensus seems to be he was......fine.

No viral moments. OK. Press pundits trying to find something interesting in it to talk about. Uh huh. Rogan trying hard to get him a moment, while also seeing to struggle to make it worth it. Yip that was there.
If something in there captures the imagination of Canadians and we see a 3point difference in polling sure, it was worth it. If it gets buried and forgotten by the end of the Canadian news cycle Saturday it's a wash.
So what else is on anyway?

The Conservatives will not win under PP as he continues to be too unctuous, too repugnant and too irrelevant to get a mandate in Canada ever.
There will be a Carney majority at the time when a new age begins post Trump and PP will necessarily not be there .
For the Conservatives to keep PP around shows their desperation and state of woe .

The current PC's don't even make the effort to represent Canadians or making a genuine effort to gain power federally. They exist to suck the dicks of the US oil companies who essentially run Alberta and milk it of its $$$$$. The Tories help them screw over Alberta by acting as their janitors and lackeys in Alberta itself or as a pressure group to get even more tax breaks and environmental exceptions in Ottawa.
That's the reason that the Tories made Dumbo Scheer their leader and then replaced Dumbo with his close buddy PeePee / Hairy Hare. They both suck oil company dicks almost as good as Danielle Smith.

This shows why the CBC should continue to be funded ! PP foolishly campaigned on defunding the CBC in the last election despite the fact that his previous riding in Ottawa is home to a good percentage of CBC staff and he got turfed out of his seat and relegated back to a province where he belongs.

BTW...it's heartwarming to hear Pee Pee texting and communicating with SuperCarney. Pee Pee is a fan, too and will probably vote for Carney next time around, too.

This is an excellent and succinct take. They don't really want to govern. They hate government. It's more effective to rile up idiots to rally them into shifting the Overton window. To the point you have
"liberal" mark carney running the country to the right of Mulroney and people are cheering for it. There is literally no left wing party in Canada and people are still on about "Radical Leftists".
I hate to say it, but you're right: PP is doing his job without ever being PM.
