Iran's leadership view the USA (and western civilization) as the great Satan
Iran's leadership wants to aqure nuclaer weapons
There is no question: Iran does pose an imminent threat

and Mr. Joe Kent's resignation will not change Canadas position.

AI Overview
Canada's long-standing official position is that the Islamic Republic of Iran must never be allowed to obtain, develop, or acquire nuclear weapons. Canada views Iran's nuclear program as a critical threat to regional and international security, and considers the country a primary source of instability in the Middle East.
once again I will ask
If you do not care at all about Israel or Iran, then why bother posting about Israel or Iran ?

Are your convictions so weak that they can be altered by an X tweet from someone you had never heard of before today?

A former green beret who has deployed for combat 11 times. But he's wrong and you're right.

And why do you keep bringing up my not caring about Iran or Israel? I already conceded that point to you.

All you do is repeat the same talking points, like a parrot. Its because thats all you have.

The more people who speak out like this, the more the public turns against Israel. You know it, and I know it.

This war with Iran may turn out to be the Israeli straw that broke the American camel's back.

Irrational hate fill religious nut jobs have sadly made your view an unrealistic view
remove them from the equation and you might see some positive progress... some positive hope for Palestine
Because Israel does not do the same and cannot do no harm according to your logic and reasoning. Here is a break down for you using the Torah.

Iran was aware of the Israel/US attacks 9 days before it occurred yet they are labeled the bad guys from the media. While Trump lies to the media and brainwashes his cult members.

The worry is that there is a mass black flag event planned and he wanted out before it was his fault.

14 million people have read his resignation letter on twitter.
14 million people understanding Israel is the problem.

Estimates are that Iran will take in $70 million a year in fees for controlling the Hormuz now.
While this will destroy the american economy and empire.

You are posting your Islamaphobic opinions as if they are facts again.
Iran hasn't started a war in 200 years and committed no terrorism.
Israel is a genocidal state and america is paying for genocide, they are the terrorists.

Did you want to talk about how many times the Palestinians have rejected peace deals ?

Here is a list of peace offers which would have granted the Palestinians a country of their own, they refused all of them

1919: Arabs of Palestine refused nominate representatives to the Paris Peace Conference.
1920: San Remo conference decisions, rejected.
1922: League of Nations decisions, rejected.
1937: Peel Commission partition proposal, rejected.
1938: Woodhead partition proposal, rejected
1947: UN General Assembly partition proposal (UNGAR 181), rejected.
1949: Israel’s outstretched hand for peace (UNGAR 194), rejected.
1967: Israel’s outstretched hand for peace (UNSCR 242), rejected.
1978: Begin/Sa’adat peace proposal, rejected (except for Egypt).
1994: Rabin/Hussein peace agreement, rejected by the rest of the Arab League (except for Egypt).
1995: Rabin’s Contour-for-Peace, rejected.
2000: Barak/Clinton peace offer, rejected.
2001: Barak’s offer at Taba, rejected.
2005: Sharon’s peace gesture, withdrawal from Gaza, rejected.
2008: Olmert/Bush peace offer, rejected.
2009 to 2021: Netanyahu’s repeated invitations to peace talks, rejected.
2014: Kerry’s Contour-for-Peace, rejected.
2020 "Deal of the Century": Rejected by the Palestinian Authority.

Here is a list of peace offers the Palestinians offered to Israel -None.

It should be crystal clear who the real war mongers are here
The Palestine position is the state of Israel must be exterminated. Period. End of discussion

Can’t make peace with someone who’s identity revolves around killing you
Palestine has painted Israel into a corner with only two options
  1. Be exterminated
  2. Take out those that seek to exterminate you
What would you do given only those two options?

The more people who speak out like this, the more the public turns against Israel. You know it, and I know it.
Public opinion does not matter to people with only two bad options
  1. Be exterminated
  2. Take out those that seek to exterminate you
You know it, and I know it

This war with Iran may turn out to be the Israeli straw that broke the American camel's back.
it could go badly , war by nature is risky and can lead to bad outcomes, just look at how years of war mongering has worked out for the Palestinians

Ensuring Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons and stop funding terrorists could also happen
Bonus if there is a regime change and the Iranian people get out from under the boot of evil authoritarian religious nutjobs

Iran is repressiveauthoritarian regime run by hate filled irrational religious nutjobs who want to acquire nuclear weapons to exterminate a sovereign state - the cancerous tumor and little Satan Israel
And they fund terrorists as a side hustle

News flash for you- they were the bad guys long before 9 days ago
and they will be the bad guys until the hate filled irrational religious nutjobs are removed from power

Bad guys = hate filled irrational religious nutjobs seeking to exterminate 10 million people via nuclear weapons
hate filled irrational religious nutjobs seeking to exterminate 10 million people via nuclear weapons = Bad guys

The most authoritative American source is Lawrence Wilkerson, who served on the State Department’s Policy Planning Staff and later as Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell. In a 2007 interview with Inter Press Service, Wilkerson stated plainly: “The Israelis were telling us Iraq is not the enemy — Iran is the enemy.
He described the Israeli message in early 2002 as: “If you are going to destabilise the balance of power, do it against the real enemy.” Wilkerson characterized the warning against invasion as “pervasive” in Israeli communications with the administration and said it was conveyed by a wide range of sources — political figures, military intelligence officials, and private citizens. The Israeli warnings were triggered, he said, after Israeli officials picked up signs in December 2001 that the Bush administration was beginning serious planning for an Iraq attack — a timeline corroborated by Bob Woodward’s book Plan of Attack, which revealed that on December 1, 2001, Rumsfeld ordered General Tommy Franks to produce a new Iraq war plan briefing. For years the Israelis tried to convince the US not to invade or occupy Iraq, stating the Iraqi threat was nominal compared to the growing and serious threat by Iran to global stability, the State of Israel, and US interests in the Gulf. The Israelis only gave up after in a meeting with Condaleeza Rice foreign affairs minister Dani Ayalon was told the decision had been made, and that Israel had better get in line behind the President quickly. Lamenting the decision and the Israelis failure to talk the Americans out of invading Iraq, Ariel Sharon notably remarked, “When this fails, who do you think they are going to blame? “They’re goind to blame Israel for dragging them into a war. They’re going to play the same old song, it was the Jews”….

On the topic of funding again the 100 billion asking price is not likely to pass a vote in congress. Which means using reconciliation. Which means having to take 100 billion from somewhere else.

Should be fun to watch the GOP trying to convince the public that further cutting services to pay for this war is a good idea.......

Sacrifices must be made ... for Israel.
I'm curious how these votes go. You will see defections on both sides of the aisle I think.

america supported Iraq in the 1980's war against Iran. Then they turned around and turned Iraq into the WMD enemy.
The Kent resignation letter blames the entire GWOT on Israeli influence on american politics.

Its always been like this.

You' can't justify committing genocide because of your Islamaphobic views of Muslims.
That's nazi logic.

Again, you are evading my point. Read your post. It mentions Israel and Palestine. No mention of the US, or even Iran.
oh boy
you point is
'' Sacrifices must be made ... for Israel. ''
and those sacrifices are permitting Israel to exist

that is not a sacrifice, for any rational sane country
exterminating a sovereign state is not rational or sane

No mention of the US, or even Iran.?
The US will make the sacrifice and permit Israel to exist
Iran will not will make the sacrifice and not permit Israel to exist

What can I say, I am no fan of state sponsored insanity

Now are you are going to continue to evade the fundamental question

Palestine / Iran has painted Israel into a corner with only two options
  1. Be exterminated
  2. Take out those that seek to exterminate you
again what would you do if given only those two options

evading this question speaks volumes

Oh boy, Johnny boy has gone off half-cocked as usual. He now thinks he knows more about the Iranian situation than a plethora of middle east and nuclear weapon experts. Maybe the reason Iran wants nukes is to stop countries like Israel and the US from bombing it or interfering with their affairs. And, Joe Kent probably has more inside information that Larue ever would.

Now, all that being said, I agree with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), which was signed back in 1968...But, the reality is that Israel, Pakistan, India and North Korea have all developed nuclear weapons since then (now, India, Israel and Pakistan never agreed, and NK pulled out in the early 2000s). North Korea is interesting, because you see how Trump treats them. They are still the Hermit Kingdom, but nobody would dare bomb or invade. Sure, they get sanctioned, but they don't really care...

So, fellow Terbites, who should we believe? Joe Kent who was a member of the US military and intelligence community, or Johnny boy, who is basically a pull-string rage baiter of "conservative" values....
