Which of the terrorist attacks in Canada, the U.S. and
Europe in the last were funded by Iran?

How was 9/11 funded by Iran a country Osama Bin Laden
was deeply hostile to?
  • Early Training (1990s): While in Sudan, bin Laden sought and received training for al-Qaeda operatives from Iran and its proxy, Hezbollah, on how to conduct large-scale, simultaneous suicide bombings similar to the 1983 Beirut barracks attacks.
  • Post-9/11 "Safe Haven": Following the 2001 U.S. invasion of Afghanistan, numerous senior al-Qaeda operatives and their families fled to Iran, where they were detained under a form of house arrest but allowed to operate.

al-Qaeda was ubiquitous in the Middle East. I am sure they had
a presence in Saddam's Iraq even though they loathed each other.

Isn't that bin Laden at one time also received support from the U.S.?

So why has it taken so long for the US to bomb Iran? Bush blamed 9/11 on Iraq. Are you calling Bush a liar?

Can we expect fewer to no terrorist attacks to hit the
west after the Iran war is over?
Probably not. We don't know how far and wide Iran's terror funding is, and many times we've seen attacks by radicalized people, like the recent bombing attempt in New York by ISIS supporting idiots. But, at the same time, the attacks killing children by the US and Israel (whom many in the Arab would see as terrorists, especially after what they've done and continue to do in Gaza) will probably inspire thousands of young, disgruntled men to take up arms against these countries (and their allies). So, with this in mind, I think there is a better chance we'll see a possible increase in terror attacks (or at least the planning of terror attacks) in the future.

I think what we’re seeing here is individuals so disgusted or angered by the US that they will attack embassies or consulates to make their anger known. They cannot attack the US military or citizens directly or easily, so they are targeting institutions. I don't agree with it, but I do understand it.

But, as I mentioned in the first sentence, we really don't know how broad or wide Iran sponsors terrorism. I mean, the vast majority of these attacks happened in the Middle East against US troops, which it could be argued were legit military targets. They've also sponsored arson attacks against synagogs, did cyber-attacks and funded militias in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Yemen... If Trump succeeds in regime change in Iran (which, lets face it, is highly unlikely), this funding could stop. But, does anyone seriously think this war would accomplish that???

CIA help fund his campaign against the Russians. He switched side late 80's Early 90s and got more support from Iran for his campaign against Israel. He works for the highest bidder i suppose... bu to say 9/11 wasn't part of Iran's agenda is ignorance.

Trump isn't Bush. at least US learn the Bush way isn't the best way...You want Trump to nuke Iran and call it a day? Then you can whine everyday that he proved you right? GTFO.

Bush branded Iran a part of the axis of evil at the time of 9/11.
Surprisingly Bush didn't hold Iran responsible for it.

My point is just that 9/11 attack wasn't funded by Iran.
And I just gave you the statement that Iran partially did. then you went straight to "why didn't Bush bombed Iran then?" as if that has to be proof they Iran didn't.
