I've been to a bunch of protests, written mp's, media and shown support.
About a thousand people were arrested in the UK for supporting Palestinian rights.
And in Australia saying 'river to sea' just got a protester 2 years.

I call bullshit on that as well. Accusing Hamas of preaching death while backing genocide is as hypocritical as humanly possible.
You are ignoring the 17 year blockade on Gaza, the 2014 Great March of Return and the 2021 bombing of Gaza.
Palestinians have a right to resistance and Israel has committed far more acts of terrorism than Palestinians for the last decade.
There are still daily terrorist attacks backed by the state in the West Bank which are just as shitty.

If you want peace in Israel then argue for the end of the illegal occupation and giving Palestinians full human rights on their homeland.
Don't blame the victims of the occupation for resisting in ways you don't approve of.


Question, why doesn't Israel attack or be attacked by Jordan, Egypt, Saudi and other Arab countries?? Strange eh??? Hmmmmm.....

The Saudis and UAE made deals with Iran. Jordan is standing by.
Now the Saudis are calling for Netanyahu to be charged, the UAE is screwed, Hezbollah is attacking, Yemen getting ready to join in.
Egypt needs american money but is happy to watch the shit show on the sides.

Its a total shit show with a genocidal war criminal who is actively committing genocide blackmailing a senile child rapist into a war that is hitting millions of people in Israel, Palestine, Lebanon, Iran and the region. A totally unnecessary war of aggression that will only lead to death and destruction all around and the end of zionism and american hegemony while making the hardliners in Iran more extreme, decide to build the bomb and more entrenched in place.

squeeze, the point is you have to do a better job of screening the material you are initially attracted to.

First, the headlines are often clickbait.

Second, the minor, inconsequential commentator talking over the clips is just layering their topspin on to well-known podcasts. They are also often dry and unable to attract attention without piggybacking on well-known podcasters. On the conservative side, Dave Rubin would be a case and point. I think he's been reduced to commenting on top of other's work.

Just as importantly, you are placing too much importance on Joe Rogan himself. At the end of the day, he is just another talking head who is a prominent podcast forerunner.

PS- I'm fairly certain you didn't watch the Joe Rogan clip to the end. Rogan starts talking about the possibility that Pretti's gun misfired in the scuffle. He has previously discussed that the gun in question has a history of misfiring. I have never posted any of that here because it's pure conjecture on his part. Mark down that word CONJECTURE.

Some think that electing the Mojtaba Khamenei is a sign of resiliance for the regime.

Was he an heir apparent? I'm wondering if he was put forth because he is a recognizable name in a chaotic time for the Iranian leadership. How functionable is the regime now and further down the road?

I think that's secondary to Iran at the moment.
They're all in on this war, they're willing to be destroyed than capitulate, they're basically saying if you take us down we'll take you with us.
They have no choice, if they don't take that stand now they know they'll go down in the next war.
The real question is, how much are the the U.S. and Israel willing to suffer for a long term strategic gain.
If this gets really dragged out, even if they win it'll take a long time for them to recover to the point where China and Russia won't be able to capitalize
on the mess they'll have created.
