Hi folks,
Not sure if that lady is as nice as she appears to be on X. She says she‘s 30 and provides a good range of services in the Glebe, but does not advertise anywhere. Pictures seem genuine, no other hit searching with TinEye. Anybody with experience on this forum? Thank you.
So I had some fun yesterday DMing with SlimNancy. She is a North African guy asking for PayPal. By the end I caught him red handed, but I kept it going to see what his techniques are and how he handles trying to scam me. The entire message is below.
I asked for a picture of 'her' at a post office near her place, with the cashier visible. Post offices are all laid out differently (at least in Canada), so its impossible to fake (he tried anyways). I kept the game up to see what would happen, and then things got weird. I think they have multiple people or chatbots going, as it was clear that at one point the conversation restarted.
Anyways, take a look. Best way to keep everyone safe is by sharing this kind of stuff.
Hilarious, this made me smile today, well done! Amusing that the scammer actually made the effort (although it probably only took 60 seconds) to create the post office picture. This would make a great TED Talk, like James Veitch did years ago by replying to a spam email, messing with scammers and wasting their time.
