What you have posted for the most part is accurate and it's because the media has told you about it. CNN, MSNOW and other reliable MSM are not hiding the facts if the facts are presented to them and verified.

There is a media lockdown in Israel. And social media posters are being arrested in some Gukf states, while others are outright lying saying everything is fine.
I'm relying on social media news for the most part, knowing ridiculous claims and AI when I see it. Although some of it is very fricking good. Especially missile strikes.
But MSM? I'm quite skeptical of them at the moment.

Sure, a country can lock down the media but then it's not the media's fault supporting the military complex, it's they are stopped from doing their job.
I don't agree with not allowing the media to do their job unless it's a real security risk.
Bari Weiss has taken over CBS. CNN has been in the pocket of the Military since Gulf War 1. The rest at various times and in various ways are owned by parent companies with Defense ties. Now Tic Toc is starting to throttle contributors.

I agree, I worry about the future of CNN but at the present time, it's the same CNN we have always known.
If you don't think they are already thinking of their jobs and futures you don't understand the talking heads. They are all paid to spout their opinions. And will spout whatever they are told to. They aren't necessarily partisan, just mercenary.
Perhaps the reportage is weak because the cable news networks don't have reporters in Tehran and the rest of the country.
I think this goes to further the point that you have to be careful which sources you follow. I'm on record that following some guy in a basement interpreting reports from the region on YouTube or Twitter is probably not going to be very substantive.

If they are doing that well, then CNN should be around in its current form for awhile.
They have been cutting back so the owners have their reasons to believe it should be doing better.
For a large company like that $600M isnt a whole lot.
