For many people though pizza is a serious dish that's been turned into cheap junk food, it's like throwing smarties on

I remember, maybe 25 years ago, talking to a guy about smoothies, he said, "Want to make your smoothie incredible? Add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter".

Never mind the pineapple, I'll have piece of casareccio bread with extra virgin olive oil and anchovies.
If it was the only thing served at an event I will respectfully eat it no complaints. If there are other food I won't touch it.
Rarely eat pizza but when I do it's vegan and with pineapple! The baked cal zones from pizza pizza are excellent for this. Planta in Yorkville has also been doing some really great 'za with figs.
I'd serve her franks and beans all day. She's going to need a Cynar after this day.

What's more offensive on pizza. Pineapple or anchovies? I am actually a fan of both. I recently saw on reddit that these 2 toppings are the very best pairing on pizza ever. I have yet to try this pairing, but I will definitely be trying it before the 2026 new year arrives. 
It was delicious, the pineapple balances out the fatty paprika of the chorizo. Didn't have banana peppers so I used Calabrese Devil's Kiss.

but seriously, it depends on many factors. Never reject out of hand the possibilities. Anybody try pear slices with arugula and prosciutto crudo on pizza? Works great.
