I saw another pic on a CBC Site I think and he definitely has them on...I think he put them in his pocket before the vid we are seeing gets taken...In the vid we see he goes into his pocket I thinking just checking that they are secure.Ya I really can't see the brass knuckles personally but maybe I need new goggles.

Dirtbag thief from the video rearrested on Monday for pulling a knife of a security guard and threatening to kill him. Already released back on the street, probably rearrested by Friday.

Yeah so what we have here originally is a native guy who is most likely an addict harassing the businesses and citizens of this area...In the Dollarama he gets caught stealing and threatens the security guard...Security officer is fed up with the B.S. and pulls out his knuckles and hammers him.Had a feeling this would be the outcome.
Now I'm betting the native guy has a long rap sheet and is known to the police...I'd also bet the security officer doesn't have a record at all.
Anyways is promising to see the native guy gets released back into the community so can get right back to reoffending...
I definitely don't condone addicts fueling their habit by stealing but at the same time I don't condone security guards thumping people with brass knuckles. An unfortunate situation all around. Maybe call it even?

I walked into a retail store a few weeks ago. Noticed a female security standing next to a woman. As I got closer the woman, apparently a store manager, is talking to someone with a hood and a mask just grabbing stuff left and right and stuffing it into bags. She asks him politely to leave. Even tells him that she is going to call the police. Not she has already called the police but she is going to. She just repeats again and again please leave please leave. He glances at her and continues to do his business. When he's had his fill he saunters out of the store and that was it. Everyone goes back to doing whatever they were doing.
It looks like the job of the security staff is to call on the store manager when they spot something and nothing more.
