Worth it?
The old science center seemed useless as it only filled with people when the temporary travelling exhibits came. They could be displayed anywhere. Teenage science weekends do not need a billion $ science center. It was a beautiful building but stagnated into uselessness but that was not the fault of the building
Why even go to see it more than once?
Science on the internet is a far better learning experience.
I can only hope they travelled the world to see what works, improve it, then bring it here for a world class center that does what it promises and gets you something that can not be found anywhere else and even pays for itself through tourism.
Think of the how the Sydney opera house attracts tourists.
