I skipped the whole Melania experince, so I am not scarred or yawned for life.

We were out last light to take in a live production
Of Scarborough Musical Theatre's current production of 'She Loves Me'.

At Scarborough Village Theatre. A thrust stage venue that seats about 280 patrons.
Set sight lines had that trimmed to about 240 seats, and those were all full.

Well directed, sung, acted. Nice choreography.
Good sets, lighting design, costumes, hair.
Chorus were all as strong as the leads. No one was just phoning it in.
Band was tight. Sure sign of a good muscial director.

A very nice night out.
Since it was on long weekend, no highway road construction.
Smooth traffic getting there, a nice unrushed dinner before the show at a local restaurant, and home again with no snags.
That is close to nirvana in terms of getting around the GTA.

We were thinking back. We see a lot of live shows more than once.
But had only seen this one once before.
In Sarasota, Florida at a dinner theatre, in 1994.
Shit, that made me feel old fast.

It's not feeling old Ponderling accept that you are a mature man of the world.

As expected Wuthering Heights dominated the global box-office even with critics slamming it. I have my own problem with the film, Margot Robbie is too perfect. She's become non-relatable. Perhaps if she let one rip it would humanize her.

Sam Raimi comback film Get Help continues to do well. Trump must be furious, Melania.doc went 1800 theaters to 50.

She's so amazing.

Jessie Buckley is on a roll, I'm watching many horror films at the theater lately.

I was hoping Rachel McAdams best bud Amanda Seyfried would get a nomination for her Shakers film.
I thought Sydney Sweeney was Amanda's best bud.

Will Smith's gargantuan ego broke him, the Bondsmen have spoken.

Should have gotten a Razzie for Ali.

Kal El No!

If true, James Gunn knows how to cast smart, his Wonder Woman - Sarah Pidgeon.

Melania.doc was a box-office juggernaut that overshadowed everything in it's wake. There another documentary I'm more interested in watching: The Life of Greg Allman.

A hard living man.

While Skydance wallows in their ocean of red ink, Netflix comes out strong.

LMAO and Skydance still has to pay Netflix $ 2.8 Billion for quashing the deal with WB. Hostile takeovers are wonderful.

I hear Alan Ritchson is in a remake of Priscilla Queen of the Desert.

El Critical drinker doesn't hide his misogyny but he may have a point here.

The makeup on the leads is horrible, two great actors looking ugly as fuck. After Poor Things and Gigli's Frankenstein another Mary Shelley vehicle is not needed. I may watch this just for the pleasure of watching Christian Bale play Richard Harris.

The film cost $95 million to make and took in $7.3 in its opening weekend, that's ridiculously bad.

Is this good? I've been getting a lot of shorts about it and it's making me want to watch it 😅

Haven't watched it yet. The thought of Alan Ritchson in Priscilla Queen of the Desert makes me laugh uncontrollably. Remember that film did wonders for Guy Pearce and Hugo Weaving's careers. There's nothing that brings me happiness more than absurdity.

General Zod in drag, love it.

Speaking of getting flooded with shorts, huge buzz around Project Hail Mary is this the film that finally gets Ryan Gosling lead man status with expanded pay days.

Written by Andy Weir who penned The Martian, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (Spider Man Spider Verse films) it looks like the first blockbuster of 2026.
