Do you have any links for this? In the article from the first post of this thread, they did a survey and over 90% preferred permanent daylight time. I wouldn't call that "so wrong".So in more news - BC said they were following the science. Meanwhile scientists are all saying NOOOOOOOOOOO!
Scientists have long been arguing that we should go to permanent Standard Time and that there is absolutely no scientific evidence as to why we should go to permanent Daylight Savings Time.
They say a move to permanent DST will mean in the winter sunrise wont come until after 9am in Vancouver which means school children and commuters wont see sunlight in the morning which will affect their circadian rhythms. However people have noted that it will be lighter later in the evening suggesting that the change is designed to allow rich people to play golf longer.
How did they get it so wrong?
How everyone did it throughout history before the invention of clocks.Scientists have long been arguing that we should go to permanent Standard Time and that there is absolutely no scientific evidence as to why we should go to permanent Daylight Savings Time.

As a late riser I would definitely prefer permanent daylight time to standard time. However I can see how early risers (by choice or necessity) would feel otherwise.
