Maybe it is just me, but I think it is better to kill a single country leader than 10,000 soldiers
Even Adolph Hitler and his Nazi degenerates understood having the
leader on the side of the enemy murdered would not help with winning
the war. The Nazis did not plan to assassinate Winston Churchill as told
in the other post. They only intended to kidnap him and brought him back
to Germany alive. Here is the historical details of the WWII saga:

Mussolini is rescued by German special forces. Hitler supported by Himmler (Donald Pleasence) has an idea to kidnap British Prime Minister Winston Churchill. The one-eyed Max Radl (Robert Duvall) is ordered to command the operation. He recruits IRA member Liam Devlin (Donald Sutherland) in Berlin. Churchill is visiting Studley Constable in Norfolk. Kurt Steiner (Michael Caine) leads a squad of experienced troops from the eastern front. He's weary of the Nazis and tries to save a girl from the cattle train. For that, they are forced to take part in the impossible mission. Devlin sneaks into the country and joins up with sleeper agent Joanna Grey (Jean Marsh). Local Molly Prior (Jenny Agutter) falls for charming Devlin. The squad parachutes in dressed as Polish troops. Opposing them is the pompous US Army Colonel Pitts (Larry Hagman) and his more competent second-in-command Captain Clark (Treat Williams).

This is a fun war high adventure. It's got funny scenes and some good action. The main thing holding it back is the reversal of roles. It's harder to root for the Germans in a WWII movie. It tries very hard to make Michael Caine a hero in this despite the German uniform. The story is highly unlikely but it's not really surreal. Plot believability goes out the window in this one.

So? Should people follow Hitler's example? I am notsure what your point is, please elaborate why killing thousands of soldiers is OK, but one country leader is not? Who made such a stupid rule, and where is it written?

You have to be smarter than Hitler, FDR, Churchill, Napoleon and other
leaders in war history to have figured out murdering the top dogs of
the countries they were trying to defeat was the way to win a war.
I guess they simply understood the war would have to be fought anyway
after the mission of assassination was accomplished.

Trump is having another temper tantrum, and this time it's aimed at Spain. What a child, a very ugly little child.

Trump threatens to halt trade with Spain over military base access
This is a bigger deal.
trump has turned america into a pariah state with his tariffs and constant attacks.
Now its a liability to have an american base, its not protection.

Every country in the middle east with a base is realizing that it alienates their people and offers no protection.

And there is a simple reason for that in the past: the rulers of all countries were related to each other. Like family-related. The war was just a chess game, where only the chess pieces can be killed, notthe players themselves. Times change. Rulers are not a sacret figures anymore, and no nation (especially the one ruled by force) will object to killing its ruler if it can save the life of ordinary people

This whole debacle shows you how inexperienced and low IQ this entire Trump regime is.
At this point their best bet is if the other M.E states get pissed off at Iran and put boots on the ground, and then the US can support the opponents like they usually do.
But not sure if any of these other countries want to get into an invasion adventure with Iran.
Or they can do the easy thing and expel the US out until they find a diplomatic resolution.
Would be interesting to see what happens.
The other countries see Iran targeting america bases and UAE, who is funding Israel.
All they see is that supporting america is now a liability.

The only possibility of war is the one trump is trying, by trying to get the Kurds in Turkey to work with Kurds in Iran as an internal revolution.
But that's been tried and never works out, though creating a bloodbath in Iran seems to be trump and Netanyahu's only goal at this point.

Rulers are not sacred figures. They could be executed AFTER the war.
You know the fate of Saddam Hussein?

And how much easier you think it will be for Trump to
defeat Iran now having murdered their leader and his
family members? I don't think Trump would care more
about saving more Iranian lives than winning the Nobel
peace prize by ending his war sooner.

100,000 more of whom? Iranians? :ROFLMAO:
There are 92,000,000 Iranians. If you don't think killing the equivalent of the Pope and bragging about it would motivate 0.1% of the population, in a religion that glorifies Martyrdom, you are just plain stupid.

The only way the Americans can win is to kill all of them. They just created a new generation of terrorists.

They were already motivated for 47 years ...they just don't have the ability and power....keep crying.
What was happening is the younger generation, who didn't see the same American imperialism that happened under the original group that overthrew the Shah, just saw it now when they killed a school.

And they are now awakened, in a belief system that espouses martyrdom.

London, Quebec City...
Canada's terrorists are generally white supremacists.

Now you want war because some pedophile is being blackmailed by a country committing genocide.
What do you mean non-existent? Right wing terrorists are the biggest perpetrators and threat in Canada. Some specific examples:
- 2017 Quebec City Mosque shooting
- 2021 London Ontario truck attack on muslim family
- 2023 RCMP arrests of neo-Nazis of the Atomwaffen group.
- 2025 Police arrest of 4 for armed militia anti-government plot.
None of this has anything to do with the active clubs in question. Nor does it have anything to do with Diagalon or Second Sons for all that matter.

They are terrorist groups.
They are a threat whether or not they do anything.
We dont wait for a terrorist group to commit crimes.
We premptively work to neutralize them via law enforcement.

Isn't this what Bibi and Trump are saying about Iran? Just change law enforcement to military action.
