I deal with Canada computers all the time. They appear to have great prices and good advice. If you are looking to upgrade your system with a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM. This might be a good deal; the savings might pay for the CPU itself.

yeah I heard about that, that was somewhat recent too wasn't it?Just don't order anything online with Canada Computers, their website got hacked.
I’ve been wanting to build a new PC for a while now, and I was honestly shocked at how much prices have gone up compared to when I checked last yearI guess my new PC is gonna have to wait for a while lol
Yup - learned my lesson I hope prices will go down soon as I really want to get a PC in the futureAmazon black Friday sale was your last chance. I got my 2Tb samsung NVME for $179.99, then they went up to $369 to none available.
I am replying to you on my Dell XPS 8300 that I bought in 2012 for around $1100. Still works great. Had to replace hard drive and Ram but that is it. Only problem is it can't be upgraded to Windows 11. It came with Windows 7 and am running Windows 10 now.IDK thinking about replacing my First Gen i7 Dell XPS purchased back in 2009 for $1,019.99 USD. It is dated but still runs great, better than new with SSDs and 16GB DDR3 Ram, being the only upgrades made.
Not a gamer and don't do video editing. Thinking of getting this for my needs. Price isn't bad, only 100 bucks more than what I paid for my current i7 purchased back in 2009:

Could be 2028.Yup - learned my lesson I hope prices will go down soon as I really want to get a PC in the future![]()
That's an old CPU, good enough for light gaming, internet browsing, and video. I'm into a powerhouse machine that game, edit video, and run AI apps. This is a pretty good deal, https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Combo...LWUPI-UIrv6HI9FcpTkTCMGvy6KA&utm_content=Deal
Prices are only projected to go up unfortunatelyYup - learned my lesson I hope prices will go down soon as I really want to get a PC in the future![]()
Canada Computers had some good deals on Boxing Day. After that, yes, the prices have gone up.Prices are only projected to go up unfortunately
There will be a bust. It's obvious. Those old enough to remember the dot com bubble bust of 2000 will understand. Will it be bigger??Looks like the AI bubble is about to burst. The cost to maintain those Data centres isn't sustainable. Then hopefully RAM prices come down..
Signs Open Ai is running out of money; they are resorting to advertising for money.
That's actually crazy, unbelievable that it's come to that, running out of stock for an entire year of ram/ssds/gpus two months into the year is just unreal.NVIDIA won't make any new GPUs in 2026, and they have limited production of the 50 series GPUs. So the price of GPU have risen. You'll have to try the used markets. Good thing I got my RTX 5070 for $749, they are now selling for at least $900.
