He has a point @squeezer
The difference is, BIDEN didn't tell Putin to go in or attack anyone like Trump, your cult leader, who promised you no new wars is doing.

If you can't see the difference, you've been into Phil's 2 case stash already.
No, he does not, and your leader has brought us closer to WW3 than Biden has ever done.

This is news to you?

I have to admit I do love that Iran is fighting the 'pedophile regime'.

As far expanded global conflict, I am more concerned about the Ukraine and even Taiwan.

I don't blame Biden specifically for the Ukraine but nor do I think we did a good job in trying to prevent the Russian invasion.
In Iran, the U.S. has been kicking the can down the road for decades.
From what I have read, the June bombing did not give the Iranian regime any pause on its nuclear ambitions.
I suspect the Ayatollah was so used to dancing with the U.S. that the music would just keep playing.

Perhaps we should have just sent the Iranian regime another plane full of money.

In other words, no chance
Low chance, but not zero chance.
If Kuwait can shoot down 3 F-15's by accident, then Iran can shoot them down on purpose

Yet Trump said the bombing was a great success and destroyed Iran's nuclear capabilities. Did he lie??

Why did Trump rip up the JCPOA deal that other former, smarter governments had in place?

Why is the US abandoning Ukraine then and allowing Putin to run wild?

Thank you for your attention to these matters!!!

So you support the bombing in June but you also supported the JCPOA?

The Ukraine is holding its own......for now. I'm not sure they can win over a long haul. Perhaps Putin will die or be deposed.
I have friends who want the Ukraine to launch missiles at Moscow. That doesn't sound like a winning idea.

Your own post shows the range of their anti aircraft. Well outside of it is where they went down. And why would they do it their and not get any in their own air space?

Think about it.

So obviously you and I are not military experts, so I have to rely on AI.
The result I got is Iran is capable of shooting down F-15's.
Heck, even the Houthis almost managed to shoot down an F-35 and an F-16, which are superior aircraft.

Q. Can Iranian anti-aircraft missiles shoot down American F-15 jets?

Iranian anti-aircraft missiles are technically capable of shooting down F-15 jets, as demonstrated by historical losses and recent combat developments in the region.

On March 1–2, 2026, three U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles were shot down over Kuwait during Operation Epic Fury, a major military campaign against Iran. While Iranian state media claimed responsibility for the downing, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the jets were "mistakenly shot down by Kuwaiti air defenses" in an apparent friendly fire incident while they were intercepting incoming Iranian missiles and drones.

Key Facts Regarding F-15 Vulnerability to Iranian Defenses:
  • Iranian Missile Capabilities: Iran fields advanced surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems like the Bavar-373, which is designed to engage high-value targets. Experts suggest medium-range Iranian missiles with warheads of 25–30 kg have the necessary power to down an F-15.
  • Historical Precedent: While the F-15 is highly durable, it has been lost to ground-based threats before. Iraqi missiles shot down two F-15Es during the 1991 Gulf War.
  • Combat Over Kuwait (March 2026): All six aircrew from the three downed F-15Es ejected safely and were recovered in stable condition. The incident occurred during a massive Iranian assault involving approximately 97 missiles and 283 drones launched at targets in Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
  • Proxies and Near Misses: Iranian-backed groups, such as the Houthis in Yemen, have previously achieved near misses against advanced U.S. fighters, including F-35s and F-16s, and have successfully shot down multiple MQ-9 Reaper drones
