I have seen some reports Iran has fired around 100 missiles. Supposedly they had a mix in the 1500 range. Other reports suggest about half their launchers are gone. And some of the stockpile.
I don't believe for a second those F-15s were brought down with friendly fire.
I can see 1 being shot down, but not 3.

Iran is the worst sponsor of state terrorism in the region. They attack through proxy. They are a Pariah state who are one of the worst humans rights abusers on the planet.

Tough call. As you said they are old planes. And Kuwait training may not be the best on their anti rocket fire. They are basically firing at blips on a screen.
As well the ballistic missiles are surface to surface from what I understand. So your idea of 3 hits on moving planes from long range s to s rockets is far less likely imo.
Also not a good idea to blame an ally. They can be touchy over there.
But with this administration? I can also see the lie happening.
