I can assure you once global oil production begins sliding down on
the descending side of the Hubbert curve all climate policies on
emission reduction will become meaningless. The world will not even
be able to slow down the rate of reduction of greenhouse gas emission
from fossil fuel consumption.
It is not climate change but overshooting the carrying capacity of
the Earth that is going to doom humanity,

If I understand correctly Mosaic law in the Old Testaments were meant for the
Israelis. I would assume Moslem law from the Quran were meant for those who
submit to the Islamic God. Interestingly it takes the Great Satan of America not
the Muslims to do justice to the laws of Allah. I doubt Israel in Biblical times would
be delighted to see its people executed by the Philistines according to the laws
of Moses.
I also doubt Muslims in the Middle East including those oppressed in Iran
would appreciate Trump's effort to liberate them,
