Given the choice of moving to Israel or Iran no doubt I would move to Israel ... But the thread is about USA and Iran isn't it?
That's just it Heph. You don't have the choice to move to Israel. And this war has nothing to do with the USA. Iran is zero threat to them.

Sure you love the Ayatollahs. (y)
I had no love for Saddam Hussein. But I still supported
Jean Chretien's decision not to join Bush's coalition to
invade Iraq.

If you are a U.S. citizen you don't have to love the Ayatollah to
question Trump's decision to send American mercenaries to die
for Israel.

I don't care to move to Israel, that was a comparison. You're really obsessed with Israel above everything, you're one of our jihadists.

I'm not Muslim, just like you're not Jewish. I don't care for these silly middle Eastern conflicts. Why do you?

They're rebuilding them, you didn't see the satellite pictures? Bottom line they can't have nukes. If you love them so much you should move there.
They can't have what Israel has? I don't love Iran, but they have a right to develop nuclear power. If Trump starts a war in the middle east, it will not end well for anybody, but the senile jerk needs a big distraction from the upcoming raping of a minor allegations that his DOJ tried unsuccessfully to bury.

Coordinated attack by US and Israel on Iran is underway.

Iran just massacred thousands of its citizens in cold blood for protesting against its leadership. Why I hate the Mullahs with a passion and hope there is a way to get rid of them.
But that Israel, one of the most despicable and barbaric nations on earth, butchering Palestinians in Gaza and stealing Palestinian land in the West Bank, is part of this attack on Iran is a disgrace on humanity.
Oh wait, Israel is staunchly supported by the country whose leader is one of the most corrupt in history and just murdered two of its citizens without accountability.
But because they have the power, US and Israel can do whatever they want. Incredible.

They were enriching uranium past civilian use. But hopefully now that the ayatollah is dead there will be a change.

Its an imperfect world. So I can stomach an imperfect US taking out Khamenei. But I cannot stomach a genocidal Israel taking out a vicious Khamenei. No way.

That said, this whole enterprise can turn out being extremely beneficial to Canadian energy supplies to Asia.
South Korea, Japan, India all obtain energy through the threatened Straight of Hormuz. From Canada to those markets is just a 10-day journey across the Pacific.
And Carney just happens to be India at this very moment striking trade deals. Perfect timing

Not so beneficial to those hit by oil price spike from the closure
of the straight of Hormuz. Protracted $100+ crude could collapse
global economy.

Aren't you happy about more oil$gas profits every single time?
Regardless of climate change or war, I thought you were all about making bank.

I am happy to make good money.

I also hate to see the not-so-affluent people suffering the hardship of
rising cost of living.

Khamenei daughter, grandkid, daughter in law, son in law also gone. Unfortunate. But payback for the thousands of innocents slaughtered during his rule. No tears!

We have seen this before. Prices will return to normal when hostilities end. Meanwhile, OPEC is meeting to discuss increasing production. Dont bet on $100 crude
