Family member warns Trump’s cognitive decline 'only going to worsen' as US braces for war

Trump’s niece Mary Trump confessed on CNN that her uncle’s mental impairment is more obvious than ever, and the aging president does not need to be leading the nation to war with Iran or anybody.

“It's important to remember that [President] Donald Trump has never been fit in any capacity,” Trump said to CNN anchor Erin Burnett Thursday night.

Burnett began the interview with a reference to a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll revealing that 61 percent of Americans agree that Trump has become erratic with age. Worse for Trump, 30 percent of Republicans now agreed with the same statement. That poll indicated doubt with Trump’s mental capacity was only 2 points lower than the confidence respondents had in former president Joe Biden’s cognitive health this same month during his administration — when Trump was raking Biden for being old and slow.

Another ABC/Washington Post/Ipsos poll last week revealed 56 percent of respondents saying Trump doesn't have the mental sharpness to serve effectively, which Burnett said was 13 points higher since May 2023.

“I mean, that's an incredible jump,” said Burnett.

“Obviously what we're dealing with now are age-related cognitive declines,” said Mary Trump. “We're dealing with physical issues that the White House tries to cover over. But this is somebody who for decades now has had serious, undiagnosed and untreated psychiatric disorders, which are only going to worsen, especially given the pressure he's under and given the cognitive and physical declines.”

“So it's great that the majority of the American people are starting to wake up to this. But I have to say, it's a long time coming,” Trump said.

Lets look at facts.

No Dems do not throw a fit every time Trump burps. They are upset that he constantly lies about the economy, the past electios he lost any thing about himself that is not positive.

Immigrants: Yes, not deporting law-biding immigrants whose only "crime" is not waiting 10 years for the legal immigration system to work, who are violating a civil, not criminal, law for being undocumented. Many were taken violently at immigration court hearings following their court dates for immigration, refugee status, etc. Only a tiny percent (less than 10% last I heard) of those taken away to who knows where had any felonies or serious crimes, maybe some had a speeding ticket 10 years ago!

Trump and his DOJ hide the Epstein files that look bad to his billionaire friends, committing child sexual trafficking, and going after honest immigrants who are contributing to the US in construction, maids, waitresses, etc., across broad occupations.

The basic problem is a flawed immigration system that may take 10 years to become a citizen. Even if you are going to your immigration court hearings, you get snapped up even at the courthouse. This is a disgrace to our country, founded by immigrants who are often our doctors, and stats show undocumented immigrants have a far lower real crime rate than US citizens.
it's throwing a fit no matter how you spin it... illegal entry is illegal entry no matter how you spin it..just because you get to go over a wall or through a fence doesn't mean you get dibs on the process...get back in line.... Trump's administration actually offered that.... self deport and do it the right way. Joe Biden and his DOJ didn't do shit with the Epstein files.... you get snapped up now because Trump's admin is actually exercising the very process on dealing with immigration violations... Trump's mandate simply says that...keep crying Dave.

No. What happens in the country is ALL ABOUT who is in control.

I'm sure that you'll be too afraid to answer this question. Who controls the house, the senate and the white house?
LMAO...you really think because they control the numbers they can't get filibustered?

bullshit...Biden raised and tripled everything. also opened the border....hence Trump is now the 47th. simple math. Biden Kamala was the worst admin...
I see, you're specifics are your "feels" and not data. Good job. This is why nobody takes anything you post seriously.

But, since you brought up the border, why did Trump tell the GOP not to vote in favour of a Democrat plan that would basically give them EVERYTHING they wanted in a border bill? I do find it amusing that you bring shit like that up when you ignore history and facts and only want to suckle upon the right-wing media disinformation echo chamber. Good job.

Sorry.......our Congress doesn't work like Canada's Parliament. It's not even close.

If the Republicans totally controlled things, how could the Democrats have engineered a government shutdown in October 2025 and threaten another one. Shutting down govt. funding seems like a lot of power.
I'd say because the GOP cannot whip its members or govern as effectively as the Democrats. The reality here is that a handful of Republicans in the house either didn't vote or voted no. The Dems were holding out due to things like the Big Beautiful Bill stripping away ACA subsidies and what not. And, since the Dems are in the minority, the fact the GOP needed their help to get it to the senate is kind of sad.

Since the day he came down that stupid gold escalator in 2015, no one, and I mean NO ONE, has lit the country on fire like him. Sorry, it's not debatable.
Trump's first 3 years of his first term were pretty remarkable. There were a lot of achievements that his predecessors couldn't do or had no interest in doing.
I would agree this 2nd term is not nearly as good. But he inherited an absolute mess on a grand scale thanks to puppet in chief Biden.
