Not a "great song" but never understood why it was a hit during it's time.

Loved RL from the first time I heard it back in ‘79, still listen to it to this day, great tune. I get a kick out young YouTubers reacting to it for first the first time, the stunned look on their faces, lol

Brown Sugar, Honky Tonk Women.
Add Angie and I can't get no satisfaction. Actually, pretty much anything Rolling Stones. I read a blurb years ago about pig farms where the pigs were being subjected to music to cheer up their busy days. Some of it worked. Rolling Stones NOT. Turned them off their swill. Something about the herkie jerky slightly off beat to most of their songs did it.

I disagree, Rock Lobster was, for me anyways, truly original, and a lot of fun.
Well, clearly it was a good song because it was very popular and a hit. People went crazy for it.
It was a masterful use of the cowbell though. I just didn't get it.

Now Love Shack I get
