I stopped in to check it out the other day. It’s in a big new commercial development on Rebecca east of Burloak, with ample parking. There’s just a front entrance, but it’s more professional businesses with no retail, so there was no foot traffic to speak of. I have generally been a fan of Mei’s since they opened but understand there have been a few issues in Maggie’s absence. I trust things will return to normal upon her return.
I called when I was about 10 minutes away and they had availability.The facility is fresh and clean, with decent sized rooms.. A young, attractive receptionist appeared very promptly after I entered, confirmed if I had made a booking, showed me to the room and collected the room fee. I had time to get ready (just) before my attendant came into the room. Boley is a cute petite young Vietnamese girl that appears to be pretty new to the business. She gives a pretty good massage with some checking in as to how hard or soft to go, but no real tease. On the flip, she confirmed if I wanted a BS (I had left the appropriate tip on a small counter top) and the clothes came off. She didn’t seem overly experienced at this compared to some at Mei’s, but made up for it with just a delightful smiling and willing attitude. I did not make efforts to push beyond typical boundaries, nor to push her beyond them,, but I know I had fun and I like to think it wasn’t a bad experience for her either. I’m not sure I will actively pursue a repeat, but I would not be disappointed to see her again.
I had read reports of drama in the hallways at this spa, but during my visit it was serene right until about 5 minutes before my time was up. I was finishing getting dressed, Boley was cleaning up the table and we were chatting about her schedule when shouting from outside the door was calling Boley out. Not the vibe I wanted to leave with.
Overall, a good experience. I may return, go back to Mei’s or venture further to V-one. I don’t get out much.
