Hi, I wanted to share what I learned about smoothing out nails, as I noticed that fingering can be YMMV, and I think having smooth and "dull" nails has helped make women more receptive to digits. Something I learned is that filing my nails incorrectly can make the nail feel rough or sharp even if it looks okay.
1. First, crystal nail files are recommended over the metal ones; they're gentler on the nails.
2. Avoid back and forth motions when filing (avoid the motion that's like sawing wood), because this can make the nails serrated/rough. Use a single direction instead.
3. Use a rounded motion to avoid creating new sharp corners. So move the nail file as if it's a moving tangent line on the circumference of a circle.
4. Use light pressure and check your nails regularly. I've sometimes over-filed my nails because I pressed too hard; I also realized that light pressure is sometimes enough to smooth out the nail. Heavy pressure can make the nail edge feel sharper.
5. Check your nails against another finger, or your face or lips (since these are more sensitive) to check if any nails feel serrated or sharp.
6. Specifically check if the corners on the left and right of each nail don't have any sharp corner that might be exposed when there's pressure on the finger
7. Non-filing motions can help make the nails duller/smoother. Washing your hair usually smooths out the nails; otherwise keep gently filing with light pressure to smooth out your nails.
8. I try to cut my nails at least 24 hours before the appointment, so the rest of the time I just gently file my nails to make sure they're smooth and "dull".
9. I use either the middle or ringer finger; not the index finger, to choose fingers where the nail is not protruding as much from the finger.
Also, just sharing my experience with someone who I later realized tends to not allow digits; I didn't try digits with her for several appointments, and only did so when she asked me to.
In general:
1. I usually show a woman my fingers to let her check before I ask to touch her inside.
2. I ask how many digits a woman is okay with.
3. I try to be careful with the "come hither" motion, because that also tends to expose the vagina to the fingernail. So I try to keep most of the contact on the fingerprint area of the finger and avoid pressing the tip of the finger too closely.
Hope this helps any of you improve your chances of having a good fingering experience ^_^
