What weapons could Iran have launched its defensive counter attacks
in the 12 days war with?
more than enough hatred in the middle east
best not allow any new ballistic missile and or nuclear weapons there
just curious, what is your specific view on Israel
- Does the state of Israel have the right to exist
- Israel needs to be wiped off the global map and millions of its civilians exterminated ?

You meant they sought to acquire weapons of mass destruction.
When Iraq was invaded its military was pretty much next to helpless.
It had no fighter jets and tanks. The few missiles they had were short range
they could only launch near their border and caused no damage
to the U.S. invaders. If I remember correctly Iraq at the time had
almost no trucks for transportation of troops and equipment. Had
Iraq's troops been sufficiently well-equipped they probably would
have lost the war anyway. But surely they could have inflicted a heavier
casualties on the invaders.
Iranians are no fools. They understand what fate awaits them once
they give up their defensive weapons.

I am of the view that the Middle East is the hornet's nest that no one
in his right mind would want to poke. My view on whether Israel has
the right to exist is of little relevance as it is a country in a part of
the world too distant to be concerned for. If people supports
Israel's aggression against its neighbors in principle they have the
right to do so. But playing poodles to Israel like the U.S. and other
states in the west amounts to monstrous stupidity as far as I am
concerned. The U.S. has to be most idiotic of all to be willing to
use their own troops to kill Israel's enemies and to get killed.
We are living in a free world. If
some leaders do not recognize Taiwan's right to exist as an independent
state those leaders are entitled to their own view. I don't want to see
Taiwan invaded. And if war breaks out I would support diplomatic efforts
to end the conflict. But I would oppose sending battleships to the South
China sea to defend Taiwan.
To those who may consider issues pertinent to geopolitical tension
and instability in the Middle East to be worrisome I have this to say.
Middle East without oil is mostly a desert of little value to the west.
Any disruption of oil supply from the gulf region would hit China way
harder than the U.S. and Canada. At any rate gulf states would starve
if they cut off oil supply to the west. They would produce and sell
their oil to the last drop. Life would be good if the west just mind
its own business.

I grew up in some developing part of the world.
I was brought up under backward influence from poorly
educated elders. Had I taken some of their sayings
seriously I would indeed embrace horrendous beliefs
such as Jews are Christ killers, all homosexuals must
be exterminated etc. I didn't take them seriously not because
I was smart. It just takes common sense and basic decency
to dismiss them.
