High protein and low calorie preferably.

Im getting pretty sick of cottage cheese, Greek yogurt and celery.

Im losing weight though.

I just need some variety to stay motivated.
I find that any kind of fish or seafood cooked by frying or roasting, no batter, is very satisfying. Add some vegetables. I can have a relatively small portion and simply not want any more. It is like a switch gets triggered.

I bet liver would be great, but I don't like it.

Satisfaction is an important, and underappreciated aspect of weight control. I define it as not feeling your need or want to eat anything else after you had something to eat. I NEVER get that from pasta, for instance - it ignites appetite, rather than suppresses it for me, whereas a combination of protein and fat usually does the trick.

If you are satisfied, it doesn't become a matter of willpower.

Also, I think that being complete nutritionally is important. I read something that if you are not getting enough nutrition, no matter how much you eat, the body stays hungry because it wants those nutrients.

Wild predators tend to go for liver, lung, intestines, and in the case of raptors, eyes first,

Early humans almost universally ate the liver first. Followed by other non-muscle organs.

Modern agriculture has upended this priority for high nutrition foods.

I have learned to accept mild hunger and stop eating
while still hungry, after half hour, hunger goes away

This is Felu here.

Simple stir fry makes enough for a few meals

He uses an electric hot plate you can put away instead of a huge stove

640 calories but just add more cauliflower rice and no real rice and kill the honey and lose 200 calories

I go to the food courts and buy a few days supply of stir fried veggies then add my own protein

Sometimes tofu but often chicken breasts as the breast has more protein and is more filling than tofu or any other part of the bird

Give this video a watch 😊
The butter chicken recipe is pretty good I eat it all the time when I meal prep 😊
It’s nice that it reheats well in the microwave even after a couple of days!!

Pomegranates

You likely spend more time picking, chewing and spitting the seed than there likely is in calories.
But they are tasty and healthy munchings.
