Is it just me or does anybody else agree that all these vegetables shouldn't be on a submarine??

When I order a sub I just want meat, cheese, and maybe a few sliced tomatoes or so. But not all these disgusting vegetables, like olives, lettuce, onions...etc. Ewww....disgusting!!! 🤢 🤮
I'm strictly a bun, turkey, and cheese guy. Once in a while a tiny bit of mustard. Zero veggies... 🤓

Couldn't disagree more, but to each their own.

In the Buffalo market, JErsey Mike's has sort of taken over and pushed Jimmy John's out...whic sucks becasue the latter is superior in every measurable way (except maybe price?).

I haven't tried JM here yet but I had it for the first time last year while traveling in the US, and I thought it was very good. At the time I wasn't aware that they sliced the meats fresh. I ordered the giant size original Mike's which has 5 meats. The girl at the counter made a face, then when I saw her start slicing the meat I understood why lol. I stood there awkwardly for several minutes while she just kept slicing and slicing. It was also the lunch rush so everyone behind me got held up. I got two solid lunches out of it though.
