He may have a ceiling. Looks do matter, but more so charisma. And ability to project leadership in different ways.

Right now Carney is projecting quiet competence. Which is what many want. PP projects willingness to fight. To critique. Which is perfect for opposition.

This dude, I just don't get him as more than an MP.

I think he looks fine and speaks great, zero problem for any reasonable minded person. But if you're simply going by looks as a voter you got some issues yourself.
I share your opinion of him, but dont underestimate the shallowness of voters. They elected that moron Trudeau.

He's the perfect example of what this thread is about though...Think about who he beat each time and what they looked like.

Justin had nothing substantive to say...Couldn't talk off script at all...Every policy was a failure...Yet they had his image fine tuned...Got to hand it to Gerald Butts and Katie Telford, they were brilliant. They basically took a privileged imbecile to the highest office in the land .

And Poilievre, who has fine tuned his image as an asshole.

re: Got to hand it to Gerald Butts and Katie Telford, they were brilliant.

there is nothing brilliant about a strategy based on deceiving the public
there is nothing brilliant about a strategy that places an imbecile in a position of power and responsibility
there is nothing brilliant about a strategy that results in a total disaster for a country

2015-11-04 to 2025-03-14 will go down in history as the most destructive 9.25 years in Canadas history , assuming we survive as an intact nation

And why is a man commenting on the attractiveness of another man?

That definitely some leftist activity being done over there.

well he is already an MP so I would say that is a success, but I think cabinet minister is probably his peak due to lack of whiteness. I would say Canada is more likely to have a Chinese or Indian PM before a black PM.
