its not like Canada climate targets can accomplish anything

look how effective the 2020 lockdowns were at slowing the accumulation of C02 in the atmosphere ?
half of the worlds population was severely curtailed from co2 generating activities and there is no observable change in the upward trend

How do you think Gore was going to profit from collapse?
gore has already greatly profited from the climate scam whose goal is the collapse of western industrialized society

AI Overview

As of 2026, former U.S. Vice President Al Gore has an estimated net worth of approximately $100 million
. His wealth is derived from post-vice presidency investments, including his role as co-founder of Generation Investment Management, lucrative public speaking engagements, book sales, and early, profitable investments in technology companies.
Maurice Strong set it up for Gore

The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is responsible for coordinating responses to environmental issues within the United Nations System. It was established by Maurice Strong, its first director, after the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment in Stockholm in June 1972.

Strong lobbied to change NGO perspectives on the World Bank.[31] He is believed by some to have inspired the works of former U.S. Vice President Al Gore on climate change.

1) None of that cash was 'climate scams'
So his 'climate scams' cash is undeclared?
Yikes ! a politician with undeclared cash, what is this world coming to ?

Al Gore spent his time in office building up the climate insanity infrastructure with the U.S government and within the evil US NGOs
A true Climate fake Crisis founder

2) You love it when the oil$gas industry makes bank doing their thing
the oil$gas industry provides products that are in demand and products that are essential for society

'love for an industry '' is irrelevant
irrational hatred of an essential industry is beyond stupid

you would have frozen to death or starved to death long ago without the oil$gas industry

Access to affordable reliable energy along with capitalism has dramatically reduced abject poverty in the world

Restricting access to fossil fuels would reverse this wonderful trend , pushing billions into abject poverty and kill hundreds of millions

3) Why are you living in the past?
Time does not wash away insanity or corruption

How long ago was this?
Are you incapable of conducting an Internet search ?
Ask when did Al Gore enter politics?

After so many years, I finally get why many people put Franky on the ignore list...
I don't put him on ignore. You should never ignore human ignorance and irrationality. It needs to be called out time and time again.

There is cost and benefits to everything. The cost of getting involved in these discussions is time; the benefit is entertainment. Unfortunately, with Franky, the entertainment value is not that great (it is, sometimes, but mostly it is not). As I am getting older, I am reducing my "help humanity" charity work.

Most humans support innovation, you don't.
Humans started using trees for energy.
Then moved to whale oil.
When they killed off most of the whales we moved to coal.
After digging up most of the coal in the UK they moved to oil.
Now we've got cheaper and cleaner solar and wind.

You would have us use the more expensive and dirty option just because its what you are used to.
But you are against moving forward with cheaper and better options.

Time does not wash away insanity or corruption
So you are saying you will always be this insane?

Are you incapable of conducting an Internet search ?
Ask when did Al Gore enter politics?
I don't care about Gore, he's irrelevant to the discussion about why hate science and humanity.

I'm amused.
You actually think larue understands the science behind the Greenhouse Effect and climate change?
