Bondi clearly worked out a couple of days ahead of time that she didn't want to answer any questions during the session and the way to achieve that was simply to insult the questioners and turn each exchange into abusive drivel.
It's a well known tactic in litigation. But in court, the judge usually jumps the reluctant witness and crucifies him / her right away. With no arbitrator controlling Bondi's session, she can simply get away with doing whatever tf she wants. It makes a mockery of Congress; but as long as Trump holds the GOP's collective nutsack in the palm of his tiny hand, no one is going to successfully impeach Bondi for contempt of Congress and remove her from office for this shit.
