I have to admit that I use to worry about the things he said sometimes. But he rolls back on so much that he says, like he will do with this bridge, that I just roll my eyes at him.

I think Carney has positioned Canada greatly in the world market making trade deals and partnerships that I am not as worried as I was.

I’m not saying not worry about Trump because he is unpredictable but for the most part - he is a lot of talk.
There is that, he's senile and can't remember anything.
But ICE still happened, so we should remember how dangerous he is.

Apparently they had a lot to do with Trump's decision to block the opening of the new bridge.

It will greatly impact the income that the owners of the Ambassador Bridge receive from tolls...

If the owner of the Ambassador Bridge was concerned about loss of revenue because of traffic diverted to the Gordie Howe bridge, he would have spoken up a lot sooner than he did. Or perhaps he realised that Trump was a senile old fool, and would do exactly what he did. It’s no wonder the U.S. is becoming the laughing stock of the world.

They did speak up, and loudly.

The Moroun family has fought for decades to stop any new bridge or river crossing, or any mechanism that would reduce their toll lower. They lobbied the Michigan governor, state representatives, and congress people, even the President Obama and Trump. They've sued, bought up land where a bridge would makes sense to block it. Getting the Gordie built was a huge undertaking that took Michigan and other courts a long time to get approval. The Moroun family felt they had exclusive rights to the crossing, one of the busiest in the world. But, they didn't care about the crazy traffic on the bridge, because they made bank.

The fact that they could get Trump to try and fuck it up at the 11th hour shows a few things.

First, they are certainly desperate. The Ambassador Bridge makes something around $1B in tolls per year...which is a staggering figure...
Second, Trump is so malleable and easily manipulated. We've known this for a while, where the last person he talks to before an announcement can totally change what he will say/think.
Finally, I think we all know that Trump will TACO. It will likely never be talked about again.

Until he threw Trump enough money into the orange fuck's crypto account in Panama, the owner didn't have the clout to fuck with the Howe Bridge, I am guessing!

Maybe PeePee should send Jamil Jivani to Washington DC again to talk to Trump's assistant-assistant-assistant-asslicker and "negotiate" our way out of this problem.

Trump was bribed by Moroun. Trump is ALWAYS FUCKING BRIBED. It's how he functions. Moroun made a chunky-wunky "political donation" to Trump last year.

He's all bluster. His strategy to negotiate is to pretend he has all the power and leverage to the nth degree. This is why no Canadian government could negotiate a deal with him, Carney or PP. The reality is, he wants to string it along and raise all sorts of outrageous issues to really drag things on, with the goal of his adversaries taking a crappy deal just to be done with it...

That being said, I do not think Carney will kowtow to Trump, he spoke with Trump this morning and told him about the ownership:

Trump is trying to play games here....he think's he's playing chess, when in reality it's checkers....
He’s eating the pieces.

The Moroun family has been making generous hay at the expense of Michigan's economy.

The King of Kings is a virile stud, he's looking as vigorous as Bruce Willis did when he announced his retirement from acting. Will ICE agents man the bridge before it officially open. And will Melania and Marla be as caring of the Messiah as Emma Willis and Demi Moore have been to Bruce?
