If the news said the shooter was a man who identifies as a woman...No one would object to that terminology.
Funny how trans women behave just like men. I'd bet 90 percent or more of all mass shooters are male. Its as if they're really male, on the inside. Like its more than skin deep.

Hint, there is no effect because once again, one isn't affected by the other.
There is an effect. Illegal weapons originate as legal weapons.
You seem to think illegal weapons magically fall out of the sky.
So both controls are needed.
Nip sales in the bud with gun bans, enable registrations so guns sold can be tracked, confiscate existing guns via buy backs and step up law enforcement to curb smuggling guns.

But everybody believes you are bobbing and weaving instead of answering a simple question I asked. lol.
Ill answer your question. The gun is more important than the shooters pretend identity. Now answer my question:

HOW will you remove the illegal guns? You dont want carding, because its racist. You dont want stop and frisk, because its racist. You dont want school resource officers, because theyre racist.

So how do you plan to remove illegal guns? Never mind legal, I'm asking only about illegal ones.

Making this a trans issue is gross and disingenuous. At least the way most of you are doing it.

The shooter being trans IS significant. Simply calling them a woman glosses over the fact that yes, trans people are a demographic at much higher risk for mental health issues. According to google about 4 times more likely to develop serious depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation than non-trans people. How much you can attribute those mental issues to social pressures vs biological ones is up for some debate, but you’re bullshitting yourself if you think being socially outcast has nothing to do with it.

There have been a total of 6 mass shootings committed by trans people (including this one). Out of 174 recorded mass shootings. These 6 trans shooters are outliers. The grim reality is that hundreds of troubled trans people wish to harm only themselves instead.

It’s no coincidence that isolated “incels”, another social outcast group, are also high mental health risk individuals for killings. According to google, incels have committed 8-15 mass shootings (depending on how you want to classify incel). All high risk groups need increased mental health support and profiling. Especially if they want to be or are gun owners.

Scapegoating trans people as monsters in random internet comments will go absolutely nowhere. They are a vulnerable minority who need to be properly supported AND properly scrutinized to prevent them from harming themselves or others.

Targeted operations against weapons trafficking networks.
Stepping up border inspections.
Implementing registrations and tracking, so gun sales can be traced for straw purchases etc.,
To name a few.

The guy who thinks carding is racist wants to track someone; how hypocritical. Criminals won't register their guns, again, how does this affect them?

Don't bother them with facts.
They don't care about the dead, or the proliferation of guns.
They only care about their culture war and their obsession with race, gender and sexual orientation.

Yeah I am for tracking everyone who purchases guns, just the same way you register a car when you buy one, as opposed to racially profiling someone to card them.
Yes, criminals won't register their guns.
Which is why you should be required to register a gun, right from the very first time it is purchased and every time it is subsequently sold.
Illegal guns originate as legal guns.

The whole trans movement which took off during COVID was a social contagion purposely spread by leftists to marginalize straight people...I would like to thank Norm McDonald for help on that one.

Yeah, yeah; register so that every previous owner is also criminally liable with the ultimate goal of confiscation. I've heard it all before.

Guilty until proven innocent, just like carding.

You're no better.

Think again:

They will find a workaround.
And just let a few of these mass shootings happen and guess who will fall in line when the pressure steps up?
And the owners will be possessing illegal weapons, so their funeral.
And more proof, that we need the buybacks, and controls I suggested to prevent gun crime.
