That's not in Italy, the slalom races haven't stated yet. The men's and women's combined start tomorrow, too bad miss Vonn can't take part.

This is what Roberto was talking about..minus WW I. The Dolomites run from Italy, the Austrian Penninsula and Slovenia,

That is very well said. The Laurentian mountains don't even hold a candle to some of these unbelievable scenic views the cameras are capturing.

Her teammate, Femke Kok, put in a remarkable skate, 3 pairings before Leerdam's skate with a time 2.5"+ seconds ahead of the 2nd place skater prior to Leerdam's skate.

And Leerdam tore that time to shreds with a high stakes, climatic last skate for the ages.

Don't know why the 3rd American goal in women's hockey wasn't goalie interference.
The American player pushed the goalie's pads into the net.
I suppose because this is not the NHL but international rules.
