Sure wish he found the videotape of the complete game he said he had in the past. It's the only known copy of the complete game to exist and a lot of fans would love to see it.
Hayes is a clown, you see why the leafs players want out of Toronto, it because of those Toronto sports media, TSN and Sportnet.

Is this the real Justin Bourne? He brings up Morgan Rielly directly. Another few goals against that he just mangles.
The last 5 games at home against teams above them in the standings clearly shows the calibre of this team.
They are inferior. Buffalo's breakouts are so smooth. There's always someone open. The have speed. Precision passing to move the puck up and enter the offensive zone to make plays. Leafs on the other hand not so much. Hence being wildly outshot again.

I watched that on TV and found myself nodding in agreement with Pronger. Rip it to the studs, and one of Matthews or Nylander goes. We'll see how anxious they are to waive their NTCs when it becomes clear a re-tool is coming, at worst.
I also don't trust Treliving for this job - get someone better to rebuild this.
He's fired the second their 2026 first officially becomes Boston's. That trade alone is almost a fireable offense.
No way you keep Nylander over Matthews.
Either way, you get rid of one, the other will be gone too, neither guy will want to stick around for a rebuild.
It's not a retool, they are short on way too many pieces up front and especially back, except for goalie.
They have a history of losing trades with the Bruins yet they continue to do it. It happened twice to Burke yet he still maintained both positions.
First off I just want to point our how horrible TSN's sound quality has been the past 40 years, Now onto to the main subject that being John Tavares. When he resigned this past summer to a team friendly deal many fans were raving how he showed true leadership. I on the other hand pointed out not only how stupid he was to do that when player like Matt Duschene and Brock Nelson were getting paid more by actual contending teams. It made no sense for him to stay with this team unless they overpaid him. My other argument is that they was no point in the Leafs keeping him because he didn't make a difference for them in his first seven seasons with them It was time to move on.
