That's gross, sorry for your experience. If I were you, I'd make it clear beforehand that any and all services were strictly dependant on hygiene, and you have full right to refuse any services based on the person's personal hygiene (or lack thereof). This is what most SP's do, I would imagine.

Be explicit, when doing outcalls that shower is mandatory. If uncertain, offer the shower for 2 option to be certain he has showered. In the story you posted, you should have just gotten dressed, walked out and saying why. No reason to expose yourself to that kind of uncleanliness.

Hygiene issues or bad smells can be caused by so many different things like improper washing under the foreskin, not washing the testicles or anus, being overweight and some even just have a natural "off" smell caused by health issues or diet.

For incalls and outcalls, make a shower mandatory upon arrival or before fun starts and provide or bring some good bodywash for them including hypoallergenic.
You may still get resistance from them or excuses, so either make them agree to it over text before booking or tell them that the fun will be so much more sexy if you feel confident in their cleanliness.
