I'm definitely on the obese side right now. 108kg rn at 5' 10". Started to hit the gym again to lose it. Used to be around 90 when I started the hobby.

Diet is 80% or more of it......For exercise just pick whatever you enjoy or at least don't hate (cardio, weights, swimming, whatever) and be Consistent. Fuck perfection, fuck optimization, fuck intensity, just be consistent. That's all that it takes.
👆💯
That is what I do. I hate cardio, so I just do weights 5 days a week at about 70 to 80% intensity.
It's worked great at keeping me at a steady 80 to 90Kgs over the years.

Hi all,

im in my late 30s and I can definitely stand to lose at least a solid 50lbs, seriously. And I can feel in my ‘performance’ sometimes. So been trying to be more active and eat healthier.
Just wondering if I am ‘competing’ with male models on here with SPs I see lol
Dude, there is a reason most of the membership is PAYING FOR IT......

Not even close to a male model, but try my best anyway ;) Used to go to the gym regularly for many years until the pandemic, since then switched to bodyweight/kettlebells/dumbbells at home.
Biggest challenge BY FAR is eating right, recently been trying to improve the mental side also - focused breathing / mindfulness / things like that.

I am in my 60s and have an adonis body that should be photographed for a magazine. It is my flabby turkey-neck dick that doesn’t work much anymore.

I just did a fitness test today and I am well above average in my ability for my age group. That is fitness though. There is a difference between fitness and body shape, body fat percentage, etc.

I have lost over 25lbs since November and have just started a weight training routine to ensure I don’t lose muscle density as I get older. I want to lose another 15lbs maybe. I will still be a larger girl, I'm not looking for a flat stomach and ripped abs. I will know it when I get there. If that makes sense.

But fitness wise, I can go a long time doing cardio, I have a lot of stamina, and my weight training routine is pretty stacked if I do say so myself.

I'm 6 days a week of cardio plus weights. 2 days arms, 2 days legs and 2 days core. 7th day is a swim day.

A good app for weight training is called Hevy. For any gym rats still using a booklet.

Exactly what I do.
Just full body circuit weights and only on machines.
No free weights or power lifting etc.,
At my age need to make sure I don't end up breaking or tweaking anything. lmao.
I hear that! But I do use some dumbells / free weights as I find they help with my balance muscles vs the machines that don't.
I'm 58 and needing to ensure the core always stays strong for my knees and back. Seen too many times what happens when you stop moving and exercising.

Im a bbw so my clients are generally big beautiful men!

But for me at least its a huge surprise when someone is see is very in shape.

When I was younger and more in shape I had body builders as clients and even they get big and have to lose weight after bulking.

I take as much advise as I can from gym bros that lost a lot of weight. Body builders have to gain and lose weight constantly. They have it figured out and it's broken down into a science. One swore by cabbage soup but I follow all these people on TikTok and so far ive lost 10lbs In 4 weeks and im eating everything I want and I never go hungry. I have a sweet tooth so I eat all sweet, high protein, low calorie stuff but its better than the full calorie foods.

I like the machines as I find it helps me better with my form. Maybe I will upgrade to free weights soon enough when I am more comfortable with my form after some practice.
I have heard and seen this a lot over the years, fully understandable but my suggestion is to not delay the free weights until you "feel 100% ready" because machines and free weights are two different things. Even very small steps count, and they can be done very gradually and safely.
